Pedro Pascal and Kieran Culkin are setting aside their awards season “feud” for now.After Monday’s Emmy Awards, Culkin and Pascal brushed aside any feud rumors at the afterparties. They were even seen hanging out at HBO and Max’s reception.

Later, the Chilean-born actor posted a roundup selfie on Instagram with Culkin, showing theSuccessionstar’s win. It looks like both stars nipped their well-known awards feud in the bud before it had a chance to heat up.

The fake feud drama started when, during his Golden Globes speech on the night of January 7th,Kieran Culkin(who won the award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series — Drama for his role inSuccessionas Roman Roy) called outPedro Pascal. He said (reported viaPeople):

“I was nominated for a Golden Globe, like, 20 years ago, and when that moment passed, I sort of remember thinking, ‘I’m never going to be back in this room again.’ Which was fine, whatever. But thanks to Succession, I’ve been in here a couple times. It’s nice, but I sort of accepted I was never going to be on this stage, so this is a nice moment. Suck it, Pedro. Sorry. Mine!”

Pedro Pascal was nominated in the same category for his role as Joel Miller inThe Last of Us. After the Culkin’s joke, the camera panned to Pascal, who playfully pretended to cry in response to the jest.

A week later, both Pascal and Culkin were yet again nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series at the Emmys. Culkin secured a win for his portrayal ofSuccession’sRoman Roy once more.

Later, when Pascal presented a different award, he made sure to give a shout-out to his fellow nominee.Before presenting the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, the 48-year-oldMandalorianactor (whose right arm was injured) took a moment to talk about himself.

He mentioned his injured shoulder and jokingly suggested that Culkin might be behind it. He quipped,“I think tonight is a perfect time to tell everyone that Kieran Culkin beat the s— out of me.”
