When compared to its predecessor,Payday 3has really evolved in map design. Each heist now has a multi-layered map with different routes to reach a certain section of a building, and there is always something risky about any of these routes.

If you decide to follow a stealthy approach towards the robbery, the map design will be even more important, as you need to learn the layout for each floor to finally make your way inside the vault. In a heist like Rock The Cradle, where raising alarms equals losing the major loot, it’s crucial to keep things under control.
How To Get The VIP Invitations
Right on theopposite side of where the VIP Club door is located, there is another door thatleads to the director’s office, but you need to lock-pick it. We suggest you stand next to the wall on the right side of the door and then start lock-picking. This way,the bartender will not be able to detect youwhile doing something clearly unusual.
Now, headupstairsand open the door in front of you. At higher difficulty levels, there will bea guard behind the door. So, make sure to check the area before rushing in. On your right, you should be able to seethe DJ, while in front of you, there isa door watched over by a camera. Wait for the guard to go next to the DJ and then gostand beneath the camera. Once the camera is watching the other side,lock-pick the doorand get inside. Hack the computer and read the emails.
After that, you will realize thatthe club’s director has been highlighted, as you can see her even through the walls and floors. You need toreach out to herandinteract with her phoneto start hacking it. She usually hangs out in the public areas, but sometimes she might also visit a Private or Secure area as well. Once you interact with her phone, you will need tostay within a certain range of the directoruntil the hacking process is completed.
Now, head back to the director’s room again, anduse the QR code scannerto open the painting box. There isan empty VIP invitationin the box. Grab it and leave the area.
How To Authenticate VIP Invitations
Now that you have the VIP Invitation, you need to write down your name on it. So, the search for theauthenticator devicebegins! There aretwo possible locations for the device, but before heading into the details, let’s make it clear thatthe authenticator is always placed next to a laptop. So, you need to look for a laptop, which is bigger than the authenticator and obviously easier to spot.
Thefirst possible spot for the authenticator is the door next to the VIP Club door. So, go back there, and unlock it in the same way you lock-picked the other door when trying to reach the upper floor. However, keep in mind that the office behind this door is aSecure area, and there is also a camera inside. But in order to check for the authenticator, you don’t really need to get inside, justlook at the desk on the left.If you see a laptop on it,get inside, and stand behind the desk, which is a blind area for the camera. Now, you should be able to seea black, rectangular device next to the laptop. Interact with it and then interact with the laptop to authenticate the invitation.
The second possible locationis quite difficult to reach out to without being seen. There are actually two different ways to reach there, and we will give you the directions for the easiest route. Head to themain entrance of the clubandlook to your left, wherethere is a staircase leading to the second floor. The entirety of thesecond floor is a Private area, so make sure you crouch before going upstairs. Also, wait for the guard in front of the stairs to leave. There will always betwo cameras on the upper floor, but the number of guards depends on the difficulty level, which could be one or two.
Now that you are on the second floor, look tothe balcony in the middleof the room. There aretwo couches and two tables on the balcony, and there should bea laptop on one of the tablesif the authenticator is placed here. Wait for the guards to leave the middle area and then go for the authenticator. You shouldalways stay crouched on the balconyand start moving based on the camera that is watching over you.The rotation of the cameras is in a way that always one of them will be watching the laptop. So, you should be on the move to stand behind the couch or in front of it to stay hidden.
Once the invitation is authenticated, leave the area andhead to the VIP Club door. Now, theguards will open the doorandlet you in.
