The main way to get more Support Gems is to find them in the field. Monsters and enemies will drop Support Gems as loot when you defeat them. Unfortunately, though, getting a Support Gem as a reward for defeating a certain enemy is not guaranteed.

Once you pick up a quest, open the Map and look on the right side of the screen. There, you will see a list of all your active quests and their rewards.
How to Equip Support Gems in Path of Exile 2
Once you get your hands on a Support Gem, right-click it to open the Support Skill menu.
From there, you are free to pick whatever Support Skill you would like. Support Skills are separated by Skill. If you want a Support Gem for a particular Skill, select that Skill from the menu on the left.
Once you’ve made your choice, the Support Skill will appear in your inventory. Right-click it once again to apply it to the Skill you wish to Support.
If you have notbound the Skillyet, drag the square icon above the Skill across to one of the slots on the Skill Bar at the bottom right of the screen. The key bind displayed on the slot will determine what button you must press to activate the Skill.
