I’m glad we’ve got a newPalworldraid boss to challenge and test the limit of our Pals. That’s none other than Xenolord, the most challenging boss I’ve fought in the game.
Xenolord’s attacks are unparalleled, and just a few minutes into the battle, you see how hard it is to fight against this dragon.

Palworld: How To Get Predator Cores
Predator cores are the new material needed in the Feybreak update to make unique items. Get to know how to obtain them.
That said, I’ve got a brief rundown of what you can expect in the battle and how to overcome the challenges you’ll face.

Preparing For The Fight
If youplan to defeat Xenolord, whichever weapon you choose, bring extra ammo with you. You’ll likely miss some of your shots against it since theboss is quite agile.
Unless you tweak the world settings to maximize the player damage, it’s tough to challenge Xenolord on your own.

Bring revival potions, advanced recovery meds, attack food, and healing pods to ensure you have enough resources to protect your Pals and Palbox.
I highly recommend leveling up your Pals, forging thebest armor and weapons, and forming an army before tackling the boss.

Before you begin the fight, you mustget the Xenolord slab, which can be crafted byfusing Xenolord Slab Fragments that drop from Dungeon chestsandsuccessful Pal expeditions.
Once you’ve acquired the Xenolord Slab, you needto create the Summoning Altarto summon the boss. You need the following materials for the Summoning Altar, available at level 33 on the Technology tab.

Palworld: 7 Best Feybreak Pals Ranked
With the Feybreak update, we’ve got our hands on brand new Pals and it’s time to capture them. Check out the 7 Best Pals for exploration and get them.
As for the weapons, I highly recommenda Rocket Launcher, Laser Gatling Cannon, or Plasma Cannonsince their damage output is relatively high.
It’ll be best to getLegendary variants of these weapons, as you’ll deal more damage than the base versions. Equipping the best availablearmor, helmet, shield, andPals with phenomenal IV traitsand attributes for the battle is crucial.
SinceXenolord is weak to Ice-type Pals, I recommend usingFrostallion and Gobfins in your party. Gobfins will increase your personal damage output, whereas Frostallion will giveyour shots an Ice effect.
Where To Start The Fight
If your Palbox is open, Xenolord’s attacks will wipe it clean. You need to find a location that providesstrong protection for your Palbox, ensuring the defenses established in the area aren’t vulnerable.
Xenolord’s attacks featurearea-of-effects laser beamsand jump attacks that’ll obliterate your Pals in one shot.
With over a million HP, you need to place the Palbox at a location where Xenolord’s attacks don’t land very often.
I’ve included a perfect spot (285,302) where I always initiate raid challenges. Since thePalbox is placed at the top and the boss spawns on the ground, it’s unlikely that their attacks will hit the Palbox.
In my fight, it hit the Palbox only once or twice during the entire challenge. So, I can attest that it’s a good spot not only for Xenolord, but other raid bosses like Bellanoir, Bellanoir Libero, and Blazamut Ryu.
Palworld: How To Farm Hexolite Quartz
Time to get new weapons, armor, and facilities. Don’t be left behind. Farm Hexolite Quartz to forge the brand new alloy, Hexolite.
Tip: Clean your inventory and bring only the necessary items for the fight. Some Pals might be attracted to the battlefield, and you can pick a few extra materials after Xenolord’s area-of-effect attacks take care of them.
Fighting Against Xenolord
Once you’ve spawned Xenolord at the Summoning Altar, the boss won’t hesitate and will start attacking immediately. You’ll facelarge laser beams, homing dark attacks, and ambush attacksfrom the sky.
Since theboss is Dark/Dragon type, it’s better to have Pals resistant to this attack type. Once you’ve reached a certain threshold,Xenolord will spawn its kin, Xenovaders, and Xenogards.
I highly recommend investing in theFrostallion as your central mountand in a good Rocket Launcher that can do AoE damage to Xenovaders and Xenogards.
Xenolord’s area-of-effect attacks will wipe out your army if they’re grouped up. So,focus on shredding Xenovaders and Xenogards for a few secondsbefore returning to Xenolord.
You can either go withmax condensed Bastigors, Knocklems (focused on defense), or a few Frostallionsfor your Pal army. It all depends on whatever’s available in your armory. However, I highly recommend focusing in your damage, which is the most effective strategy against Xenolord.
Keep the boss’s aggro towards your character and dodge incoming attackswith Frostallion’s dashes. Frostallion is an agile Pal, so you can dodge most of the attacks.
If one of your Pals or central mount dies,go to your Palbox, switch your dead Pals, and return to the fight. I suggest fighting outside of Xenolord’s attack range, as fighting up close is pretty deadly.
If you’re not into spending a lot of time on breeding the best fighting Pals for the raid, an easy solution would be to tweak the world settings to amplify the player damage and take it from there.
