For some reason, the name “Axel” just fits a boss who resides in the volcanic region of the game’s map. This area isa cool place to explore, giving you a whole new color palette to digest other than the green forest and grayish white snow.

This is the hardest boss in the game and serves as the last one you should be taking on. It operates similarly to the fight with Marcus and Faleris since it alsoinvolves a flying Pal, but it tops this list because Shadowbeak just looks so cool. It’s dark blue/purple, and its glowing eyes really make it feel even more intimidating. Because of this, and its difficulty, Victor and Shadbeak take the top spot on this ranking.
