Though which of these long-line of plant lovers you decide to go with is largely down to personal preference, some are definitely better than others. 10Mammorest

Mammorestis the first Grass Pal to make it onto this list, just narrowlybeating many of the starter Grass Palsin terms of damage and defense. Though Pals like Tanzee and Lifmunk are definitely great to capture for both their Partner Skills, and their diverse range of Work Suitabilities, they unfortunately do not manage to reach the number 10 spot.
The main advantage Mammorest has over many other Pals is that itboasts a Level 2 in all its job roles. Mammorest is alsoone of the very few GrassPals capable of Mining, making it a great asset if you are yet to secure a decent Ground Pal. However, when it comes to both Work Suitability and combat, Mammorest ranks rather low in comparison to other Pals on this list.
High Ranking Work Suitability Pal
Mossandais astep above Mammorest in base damage, whilst also retaining the same level of defense. Though Mammorest does not fall too behind with its base level of Melee Attack and Magic Attack, Mossanda is by far much better in combat. This is because itboasts the Grenadier Panda Partner Skill- allowing it to dish out even more damage than the latter when mounted.
Mossanda is also a pretty good helper around your base, specifically for the mid-game. This PalsLevel 2 in both Planting and Lumberingallows it to farm Wood and plant crops much sooner than many of the earlier Grass Pals you encounter - whilst also shipping both items into storage thanks to itsLevel 3 in Transporting.
Jack Of All Trades Grass Type
Beegardeis quite literally the closest Pal to being a jack of all trades on this list, as it is capable of performing a total of 7 different jobs within your base. This diverse range of jobs makes it ahighly proficient worker, one which will further the progress of your base at a steady pace.
The major benefit of having a Beegarde within your base is its ability togenerateHoneywhen working at aRanch, allowing you to farm a valuable ingredient forcrafting Cake. Though Beegarde is not exactly the best option when it comes to combat, it can be useful forbuffing the stats of an Elizabeein your Party - making it best suited when part of a team.
7Robinquill
Best Grass Pal To Fight Alongside
Robinquillis arguably a step above Beegarde when it comes to performing a variety of tasks around your base. Though not majoring in as many professions as the previous entry, Robinquillranks higher in Handiwork, Transporting, and Gathering- whilst still having a few other useful job roles.
Robinquill is also rather proficient when it comes to combat, boasting a slightly higher base damage output than many of the other Grass types before it. However, the biggest benefit this Pal has is its Hawk Eye Partner Skill - whichboosts the damage you deal against enemy weak points. This makes Robinquill the best Grass type to fight alongside you against tougher Pals - except Fire Pals of course.
Best Worker For Mid-Game
Elizabeeis one of the top Grass Pals to have in your base for the mid-game of Palworld. Though some other Pals rank much higher in Work Suitability, Elizabee offers aLevel 2 in Planting, Handiwork, Medicine Production, and Gathering- some of the most essential roles for keeping your Pals fed and maintaining their well-being.
Elizabee is also a pretty good Pal to have in your Party. With a base damage output higher than many of the other Grass Pals before it - andone of the higher levels of defense- this nifty Pal is a force to be reckoned with. Pair this with a few Beegardes in your Party, and you have a solid option for going toe-to-toe with some of the harder-to-beat ground-type Pals.
Great Worker & Support Grass Type
Petalliais quite comparable to Elizabee in terms of its Work Suitabilities, being capable of performing many of the same job roles. However,Petallia ranks higher in Planting, along with possessing the means to move the items produced by your base into storage. This is a major upgrade from many previous entries, one that requires you to visit Wildlife Sanctuary No. 1 to obtain.
While Petallia is a great worker, it does fall slightly behind Elizabee in base damage. However, considering that this Pal is capable ofhealing you with the Blessing of the Flower Spirit Partner Skill, it’s pretty clear that Petallia is more favorable - as it can save you from dying in sticky situations.
High Ranking Work Suitability
Vaeletis arguably one of the best Grass type Pals for a few reasons, the first being its range of Work Suitabilities. As one of two Pals with aLevel 3 in Medicine Production, Vaelet is an invaluable asset for keeping your Pals in good health - until you get your hands on Lyleen that is.
Though Vaelet is a high-ranking Work Suitability Pal, it is also a viable Pal to have in your Party. With thehighest level of defenseout of all the Pals on this list, this nifty critter is more than well-equipped to hold its own against hostile Pals. Vaelet also offers the ability toincrease the number of items dropped from Ground types- making it an invaluable asset forfarming High-Quality Pal Oilfrom Digtoise and Dumud.
Best Overall Work Suitability Pal
Verdashmanages to make it into the top three spots on this list just by a narrow margin. Though its closest competitor, Vaelet, ranks higher in terms of defense, Verdash offers aslightly better base damage output. Verdash alsobuffs both player movement speed, along withapplying Grass damage to your attacks- thus making it the better option for offense.
However, despite the glaring benefits this Pal has in combat, Verdash also proves its worth in Work Suitability - retaining many of the same professions as Vaelet but at a higher level. To put it simply, Verdash is one of thebest Pals for furthering the progress of your base, largely due to its ability to be efficient in many different areas.

Best Transporting Grass Type
As previously mentioned, Verdash is capable of performing quite a few jobs efficiently. However, when it comes to Transporting, there is no better Pal Grass type thanWumpo Botan. Wumpo Botan alsoranks higher in Lumbering, making it quite effective at harvesting a tonne of Wood, and then storing it away - perfect for crafting builds and items.
Though this large Pal does rank fairly low in terms of Magic Attack, itsbase defense is second to that of Vaelet. Wumpo Botan will alsoincrease yourWeight capacitythrough its Guardian of the Grassy Fields Partner Skill, making it quite useful for farming heavy resources.
Best Planting Grass Type
Lyleenis arguably the best Grass type you can have in Palworld. Sporting both ahigh level of Magic Attack and defense, Lyleen is more than capable of holding its own against strong Pals. Furthermore, just like Petallia, Lyleen iscapable of healing you, making it better suited than the former for support.
Where Lyleen shines, however, is its role within your base. Lyleen sports thehighest level of Planting out of any Grass Palin the game, along with thehighest level of Medicine Production. This makes Lyleen perfect for producing tonnes of food for your Pals, whilst also crafting Medicine quickly - essentially replacing Vaelet for late game.
