After an almost three hourOverwatchExperimental Card Panel, it looks like we could be seeing some big changes coming in the next update for the Experimental Card. We’ve got everything you need to know about when the next update is set to drop and what will be included.
If you’re an avid player ofOverwatch, but haven’t ever tried out the Experimental Mode, we’ve got everything to know about the special mode before you jump in. The Experimental Card is quite different from the usualOverwatchmodes.
You can watch the fullOverwatchExperimental Card Panel below, where the top players discuss changes they want to see.
What Is The Experimental Card?
The Experimental Card is a temporary mode that is updated separately from the full game, with the intentions being to ‘experiment’ with new features and changes before being included in the full game. With a competitive game such asOverwatch,it’s important to regularly balance heroes and weapons to ensure everything is on an even playing field.
However, sometimes these changes aren’t well received by the community, this is where the Experimental Mode comes in to play. By implementing changes to heroes, modes, and weapons, players are able to test the changes before they get implemented into the game and can make their voices heard if the changes aren’t positive.
When Is The Next Experimental Card Update?
The next Experimental Card Update is currently set forMarch 22, 2021. After an almost three hour panel that took place between professionalOverwatchplayers, some of the changes agreed upon will be part of the next Experimental Card onMarch 22.
