Overwatch 2has been one of the most popular free-to-play first-person shooter games for many years now. The series was kicked off with the 2016 hero shooter,Overwatch, but in 2022, the game was replaced withOverwatch 2. It has been confirmed that the game is coming to Xbox Game Pass tomorrow, 17th September.

This is not surprising asOverwatch 2is one of Blizzard Entertainment’s most prized possessions. Since Microsoft has now acquired the studio, it makes sense why the game has been added to the game pass. The game is free-to-play for everyone, however, players who have the Xbox Game Pass will get some benefits.

Blizzard Entertainment has announced on their officialwebsitethat their free-to-play first-person shooter game,Overwatch 2, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on 17th September 2024.
In October 2023, Microsoft bought Activision Blizzard for roughly $68 million, giving them access to franchises likeCall of Duty,World of Warcraft, andDiablo. Thanks to this deal,Call of Duty: Black Ops 6will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass on day one i.e. 25th October 2024.

Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Will Get Exclusive In-Game Items
The studio has revealed that players who have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, or PC Game Pass account, can get their hands on some exclusive benefits.
By linking their active membership to their Battle.net account before November 11th, players will get six hero skins: Cardboard Reinhardt, Turtleship D.Va, Cyberdragon Hanzo, Street Runner Genji, Bee Mercy, and Cleric Lifeweaver.

Xbox Game Pass users will also have access to selectOverwatch 2Shop cosmetics from the past three seasons and a 10% XP boost.
