Kiriko has been officially unveiled as the next support hero joining the Overwatch 2 roster when it launches earlier next month. As the new female hero, Kiriko will have both offensive and defensive tools at her disposal to save her teammates from danger and survive.Prior to this official announcement, a cinematic trailer was leaked from Kiriko, revealing the new hero’s appearance and some of her abilities. However, you can now take a look at her in action with this new gameplay footage.

While Kunai’s will deal damage to opponents, the cards will make allies briefly invulnerable to enemy attacks. Below, you can check out the full list of Kiriko’s skills and abilities:

As the skills above reveal, Kiriko is one of the fast-paced supports in the game that can move around her teammates faster than other support heroes to protect them. With perfect timing, Kiriko’s Protection Suzu can save herself and her allies from deadly attacks, including Junkrat’s Ultimate attack.
Kiriko is the final new character coming to Overwatch 2 in Season 1, which begins on October 4 when the game launches. Junkerqueen and Sojourn were the other new Overwatch 2 heroes in Season 1 that have been already announced.
Aside from revealing the Kiriko, Blizzard also shared the content roadmap for Season 1, which includes some special skins and an upcoming limited time event called Junkenstein’s Revenge.
In addition to the classic maps and modes, you can expect six new maps in Season 1 as well as a new Push mode and some Competitive Mode improvements.
