What compels someone to create monstrosities? Whether it is the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers with googly eyes or the equally terrifyJoy-Con knife additionjust… why? And that is what I’m left asking after seeing a video of a newOsu!mod that lets people addFor Honorsound effects… for some reason.
In case you haven’t heard ofOsu!, the game is a free and open-source rhythm game developed by Dean Herbert. The basics of the game are simple – circles (or dragged circles) pop up on screen and you have to use your mouse or touchpad to follow the beat. The community for the game is huge, with people being talented enough to pull off videos like this:
But with large communities come some weird crossovers – especially with the larger than lifeFor Honorcommunity. And while any crossover was unlikely, it appears that a Redditor has done just that, addingFor Honorsound effects to the beat of eachOsu!interaction.
While the video starts off normal enough as the player boots up “Cold Green Eyes ft. Roos Denayer,” things take a medieval shift as the song starts up. Everytime that the player interacts with the screen, we are treated to one of the Conqueror’s “Rah!“s. It’s patently ridiculous, and worth watching below:
