The much-awaited Elbaph arc is finally progressing in terms of story as the new and mysterious characters make their way into theOne Piecenarrative. From the deceased King of Elbaph, Harald, to Gunko, the mysterious woman with Evil Shanks, all these characters add more drama and thrill to the ongoing plot, and fans are excited to see what’s in the future.

However, among these characters, the one that adds the most substance to the narrative of Elbaph is definitely Loki, the accursed prince who is currently a prisoner in the Underworld of the land of Giants. Loki’s character has brought a sense of intrigue and confusion to theOne Piecestoryline, as some fans believe that he is the villain, while others believe he might be Luffy’s new ally.
Irrespective of that, the fact of the matter is that Loki is imprisoned, and he has made a deal with Luffy that most likely involves him getting free from his chains. But there is a possibility that the person who may break Loki’s chains might not be Luffy. Considering the development in theOne Piecenarrative, it is safe to assume that Loki will be freed by none other than Eustass Kid.

Eustass Kid’s role in theOne Piecefinal saga
Eustass Kid was one of the very fewOne Piececharacters who made it to the final saga of the story. He held a bounty that was equivalent to that of Luffy, who acquired the status of Emperor. Not only that, he was also one of the final contenders for the race for theOne Piecetreasure. However, fate has something else planned for Kid as he reaches Elbaph.

Kid announced that he was going to search for the man marked by the flames as he had the final road poneglyph. His search led him to Elbaph, where he came across Shanks’ grand fleet, and that’s when revenge took over him. Kid had a past with Shanks’ crew, which forced him to attack Shanks’ fleet and was later taken on by theOne PieceEmperor himself.
Shanks defeated Kid and his entire crew with just a single attack, putting an end to his journey as a pirate. However, the only issue was that Kid was never officially declared dead inOne Piece, and even his dead body went missing. Thus, fans started speculating that he might just be aliveand make a comeback after all.

Eustass Kid might ally with Loki
If the above-mentionedOne Piecespeculations turn out to be true, the only place that Eustass Kid might be able to escape to is the Underworld of Elbaph. It is the only region where he can recover from his defeat and come up with a plan of attack. However, if he is in the Underworld, he is bound to come across Loki, who is the biggest prisoner present there.
Their mutual hate for Shanks could very well lead to the two becoming allies and taking on Evil Shanks, who iscurrently there to recruit Loki into the God Knights.Considering the uncanny similarity between the two Shanks, they might attack him together, in the hopes of taking him down. But there is also a chance that the real Shanks might return back to Elbaph.

As Elbaph comes under his protection, if he gets the news that Loki has been freed and the God Knights are wreaking havoc on the land of Giants, he will immediately return to protect it. This would make up for a great plot for a war that is destined to happen in the Elbaph arc inOne Piece.
