The MCU is at it again, as they have made their fandom go nuts with the release of the new trailer ofVenom: The Last Dance. The fans are baffled by the fact that Chiwetel Ejiofor portrays different roles in the superhero franchise. But what has left them confused is how a small part of the symbiote was left behind in the post-credits scene ofSpider-Man: No Way Home.

Venom: The Last Dance is the latest MCU project

The segment is now a part of the MCU, leaving fans dazed. Even though it might sound surprising to some fans, this is not the first time when the franchise has massacred its holy timeline. Back in 2022, the fans were left equally bewildered because in the post-credits scene ofMorbiusan old face from SSU was featured.

MCU Ruins The Sacred Marvel Timeline Again

Tom Hardy’sVenom:The Last Danceis another addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the upcoming project has released its trailer. Some fans are left baffled after watching the trailer because it has left them clueless and perplexed about the film’s timeline. The eagle-eyed fans have noticed how Chiwetel Ejiofor is a part of the film, which is surprising because the film is part of the SSU.

However, Ejiofor is part of the MCU because he was featured in the 2016 film,Doctor Strangeportraying the role of Baron Mordo. A fan has tweeted onXstating that is quite possible thatKevin Feige’ssuperhero franchise is trying to reinterpretSpider-Man: No Way Home’spost-credit scene. But what looks so much more startling is how all of it makes no sense to them at the same time.

Fans are confused with Marvel constantly messing with its timeline

“Sony is really about to f**k this series up”: Venom: The Last Dance’s Rumored Peter Parker Plans Could Totally Ruin One Scene That Connected the Franchise to the MCU

While they attempt to find a reasonable explanation for the violation of the Marvel timeline, fans comment on the post, either explaining their potential theory or complaining about how all of it is a bit too much for them to comprehend.

Imagine Venom(Eddie Brock’s version) meets Deadpool & Wolverine and then Wolvie gets Venomized to fight Red Hulk! Holy!!!

That may sound crazy but on Earth 90211 of the multiverse, there is a story where Deadpool comes in contact with the symbiote and becomes Venompool. The Chiwetel we’re seeing in the trailer may also be from Earth 90211 and possibly didn’t become Mordor in that universe.pic.twitter.com/83xxHSkyh9

Marvel previously messed with the timeline in 2022 by featuring Vulture in Morbius

🫠 My head is melting trying to explain this logically

if that’s the MCU, that should be Mordo💀

Oh it’s possible. It’s even the same glass, that’s definitely the same bar. We’re getting a look at the Multiverse, wouldn’t it make sense that people are at least a bit different? If it’s not the same character and they’re being quiet with it to not ruin a surprise.

Nevertheless, this is not the first time, when Marvel has left their fans clueless because in the post-credits scene ofMorbius, an old face was showcased from the SSU.

TheMorbiusPost-Credits Scene That Left The Marvel Fans Clueless

Jared Leto’sunderwhelming filmMorbiuswas released in 2022, though initially it was believed that the film was a part of the MCU but that was not the case, because it is part of the SSU. The film was an overall failure that led to executives abandoning the idea altogether.

Despite being part of the SSU, there was one aspect that tied the film to the MCU, it was none other than the post-credits scene featuring Michael Keaton as Vulture. The scene raised a lot of questions because there was no explanation of how the character became a part of the MCU.

Furthermore, when Doctor Strange cased the spell in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it did not bring the antagonist to a different universe because the spell was not supposed to work like that. Since there has been no proper explanation behind this action, it can be assumed that before Tom Holland’sSpider-Man 4is announced, Marvel is attempting to merge the two universestogether.

“I guess it really is the last DANCE”: ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ May Have Taken its Title a Bit Too Literally as Anti-hero Turns into Miss Twinkletoes in First Trailer

This assumption isin reference toThe Marvels’post-credit scene that prepared for theX-Men’sarrival to this universe as well.

Venom: The Last Danceis scheduled to release in theatres on 06 July 2025.
