Prior to its launch,No Mans Skywas supposed to be one of the most ambitious games in history with an infinite world, but it actually took developers a few more years after launch to get the game where it was supposed to be at launch. Now, Hello Games is making the same promises for their next title!

To be honest, countless times fans have been disappointed by game developers/publishers in past years. It’s all about the promises that you make but can’t implement into your game. No Man’s Sky, Mass Effect Andromeda, Anthem, and Cyberpunk 2077 are all some bold examples of such disappointment.

Of course,No Man’s Skyis a brilliant game at the moment with tons of activities and incredible post-launch support, but you can never forget its rough launch.

No Mans Sky Developers Are Working on a Brand New IP

No Man’s Skywas surely a big lesson for Hello Games not to rush ambitious projects, but now they are working on something even bigger, which would seem impossible to do with a team of 1000 developers, according to the studio director himself.

In a recent interview withIGN, Sean Murray, co-founder of Hello Games, discussed a little bit about their next project, describing it as something even bigger thanNo Man’s Sky. He said:

For a while now we’ve been working on something pretty ambitious in the background. It’s a small team but we like it that way. Similar toNo Man’s Sky, it’s the kind of project that even if we had a thousand people working on it, it’d still seem impossible.

Yes! You heard it right! Hello Games is trying to make the impossible possible again, but things could be very different this time. Regarding the issues they faced when developing No Man’s Sky, they are now experienced enough to know when to launch their new game and how to describe it without making untrue promises.

So, unlike No Man’s Sky, we should be really excited for their upcoming title! Murray confirmed that this is not going to be a sequel to No Man’s Sky, but the project is still in the early stages of the development, which means you need wait a few years to see some official trailers!

Regardless of the new project, Hello Games will still continue to supportNo Man’s Skywith new content.
