Finding an Elder Eoten can be confusing as they’re indistinguishable from a regular Eoten, who themselves are difficult to identify. Luckily, there is a way to quickly find an Elder Eoten and get his heart. But you’ll need to do some preparations first.

How To Get Elder Eoten Heart
Elder Eoten Heart in Nightingale can be obtained by defeating an Elder Eoten, an ent-like tree monster that only appears in Forest Hunt Realms.The prerequisite to finding the Elder Eoten is unlocking the Hunt Realm Card. Once you’re inside a Forest Hunt Realm, there are two ways to get your hands on an Elder Eoten Heart:
How To Get The Hunt Realm Card
Just like theAntiquarianand Herbarium Cards, theHunt Card’s recipe can be unlocked by completing the related Hunt Site of Power in your home realm. And just like all Sites of Power, the Hunt Site of Power cannot be entered until you reach the specifiedgear score (70).
The Hunt Site of Power won’t appear until after you complete the Gloom Site of Power.
Unlock the Hunt Major Realm card and craft it at an Enchanter’s Focus. Play the Hunt and Forest cards together at a realm portal to enter the Forest Hunt Realm. Prepare your best weapons as you’re going to be facing a tough monster, theElder Eoten, and things can go sideways easily.
How To Get An Elder Eoten Offering
For this, follow Nellie Bly’s advice and take Wilhelmina Sasse in your home realm. She’ll give you the quest to find a knowledgeable realm expert in the Antiquarian Swamp Realm.
Find your way to this realm and open your map, and you’ll see the icon showingLudivina St. Claire’slocation. This is the person we need to talk to.
Ludivine will give you the quest to getthree Slight Curative Potions. You’ll need a Simple Alchemical Boiler to make these potions. The recipe for this item can be bought in exchange forT1 Essencefrom any Herbarium Realm Trader.
Buy the recipe, build the Alchemical Boiler, and craft three Slight Curative Potions. You’ll need the following ingredients.
After you complete this quest, Ludivina will ask you to find her three more items to give the Elder Eoten an offering.
Get all these materials back to Ludivina, and she’ll give you the recipe for the Ritual Fabled Meat. To craft the recipe, you’ll need a Bonfire and two things.
With this, you’ll finally be able to get the offering to give an Elder Eoten.

How To Find Elder Eoten Quickly
After you enter a Hunt Realm, the second question becomes where to find an Elder Eoten.All Eotens in Nightingale hide themselves as trees and blend into the landscape. They’re almost impossible to identify unless you know what you’re looking for.
All Eotens can be identified by the offering altar nearby. An offering altar is essentially an extension of a Eoten’s main body, so if you see one, the Eoten itself is right next to you. Regular Eotens come in many varieties and have different appearances depending on the type of biome you’re in. Elder Eotens, luckily, have a distinct appearance that makes them easy to identify.Elder Eotens look like old oak trees with bendy, bonsai-like tree trunks(pictured above).
The fastest way to find an Elder Eoten is by using the Track Legend Enchantment, which you can buy from the Desert Provisioner Essence Trader for 10 T1 Essence.Using the Track Legend Enchantment will show a glowing line guiding towards the most powerful beast in an area. If used in a Forest Hunt Realm, this will be the Elder Eoten.
All you have to do is apply this enchantment to your gear, enter a Forest Hunt realm, and trigger it. A golden thread will appear in the overworld.Follow the golden line, and you’ll find the Elder Eotenif he’s nearby. If the Elder Eoten is too far away, the enchantment may not trigger.
If you have theRitual Meat as an offering, use it at the altar, and the Elder Eoten will give you an Elder Eoten Heart. If you don’t have it, you’ll need to defeat the Elder Eoten to get its heart.Fire enchantments and a powerful axe are a killer combofor this fight.
