A Major Plot Point For Ms. Marvel Season 2 Might Have Already Been Foreshadowed

Season 2 of Ms. Marvel isn’t out yet but that doesn’t mean fans aren’t already theorizing what could happen. According to aTumblr post, in the comics, Zoe Zimmer’s storyline parallels the show to some extent, portraying her as initially a popular white girl who evolves into one of Kamala’s key allies. However, the comic version of Zoe is more intricate. At that time, Kamala is combating an AI sentient virus, Doc.X, which gains access to Zoe’s personal information, revealing love letters written to her close friend Nakia Bahadir.

Despite Doc.X’s threat to expose these letters to the entire school, Kamala refuses to comply with its demands. Instead, she confronts Zoe, who understands Kamala’s predicament but is distressed at the prospect of her secret being revealed. Eventually, Zoe confesses everything to Nakia, who, while understanding, doesn’t share Zoe’s romantic feelings. Despite Zoe’s willingness to be open with Nakia, the letters are still sent out, forcibly outing Zoe as a lesbian to the entire school.

In the Earth-19999 series, when Zoe advocates for Kamala’s right to privacy, especially regarding her identity, it serves as foreshadowing for potential future developments in the storyline. Naturally, this intriguing foreshadowing could definitely play out in season 2.

Iman Vellani Already Advocated For Doc.X InMs. MarvelSeason 2

In an exclusive interview withThe Direct,Iman Vellanidiscussed what she would like to see in the second season ofMs. Marvel. The young star has extensive knowledge of Marvel comics and everything related to Marvel, for that matter.

She revealed her knowledge through her interest in exploring Doc.X, a sentient computer virus, as a villain inMs. Marvelseason 2. She emphasized that Doc.X would resonate well with the Gen Z audience due to its relevance to the digital age, as it appeals to a younger audience than many of the MCU’s previous projects.

”Definitely Doc.X. I think that’s a great villain from the comics and can really resonate with the Gen Z audience. It would be so interesting—I don’t know, messing with kids’ psyche almost when you have this villain who only exists on your phone, and on your laptops, and on all your screens that we can’t avoid. I think it’d be  eally interesting position to put them all in to fight against something that you can’t even see, right? Yeah. Yeah, that’s one of my favorite comic storylines. So I would love to see that play out.”

Of course, Iman Vellani is a Gen Z herself, so she is more in tune with what people her age would find more interesting and relevant in this day and age. It remains to be seen how the second season will be received in the end.
