Monster Hunter Wilds Devs Releasing Free Items As Part Of Momentuous Milestone
Capcom has also confirmed a game update due for release by the end of May.
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Release Times
Before players are able to take on the new monsters and whatnot in the game’s first major update, the servers will undergo maintenance.
The maintenance period and patch download are tied hand-in-hand, as you’ll need to download the file first before being able to enjoy the new content, and chances are, it’ll be released close to maintenance. Capcom has said that maintenance starts on April 3 at 3 pm PT! Not in the same timezone? Don’t fret, as we have a handy timezone conversion list below on when the patch is expected to drop.
Capcomsays that the patch will take roughly 10GB on PS5, and 6GB on PC and Xbox Series X|S. ensure to make space for it now, so you’ll have no issues downloading the patch when it’s live.

Alongside that, players should expect new story-related quests, side missions, new items and a ton of gameplay adjustments and the like, given this is the game’s first major update.
