Most of the Elden Ring Fanbase Is Barred from the DLC
The answer isn’t a technical error or anything of the sort. No, the answer is rather simple, but not as simple to overcome.
Accessing the DLC area requires beating Mogh, Lord of Blood. According to content creator Cohh Carnage’s diligent search, he found that only 37.8% of the game’s Steam players have beaten him.
There is an achievement on Steam for beating Mogh. Which the@ELDENRINGdevs have said you have to beat for the DLC. 37.8% of Steam players have this achievement.This means that 62.2% of Steam players that have Elden Ring…Will not be able to play the DLC! 🤣
Meaning, that over 60% of the game’s fanbase on Steam can’t access the DLC area.
When this FromSoftware title came out, it blew up on the internet, unlike any other title. It’sthe most popular game from the companyfor a reason, and is, without a doubt, the first Soulsborne experience for many people.
Keeping that context in mind, the game is quite difficult, even for people experienced with the genre. No doubt, many people on other gaming platforms and devices also failed to defeat Mohg either by inability or dropping the game before reaching him.
