During the session, Miles mentions how his former friend and mentor, Peter Parker, alienated him for months and admits the senior Spider-Man hasn’t been around much.

“He just hasn’t been there for me when I needed him the most.”

Miles further explains how he could have used Peter’s perspective on some of his issues and admits Peter ghosted him. Moreover, Miles reveals when he and Peter finally reunited, the latter acted like nothing had changed between them. However, Miles’ words seemingly confirm he doesn’t feel the same way, and Peter’s absence has strained their friendship.

In issue #13, Miles is referencing events in Zeb Wells’Amazing Spider-Manrun, which sees Peter taking a hiatus and cutting ties with his superhero friends for a while.
