Mad Menhas a reputation for being a masterpiece. Its good traits lie in several parts of its production, ranging from the excellent acting of every single cast member to the direction and even how accurate it manages to be when it comes to the time period it’s set in. However critically acclaimed this series is, there is no denying that some moments get quite bizarre.
One of the first characters that comes to mind when it comes to peculiarity has to be Ben Feldman’s Michael Ginsberg. The character was certainly one of the most unhinged parts of the series, with his bloody confessions of love and his dramatic exits on hospital equipment.

Ben Feldman went into further details about his time working onMad Men,and it seemed that working on a hit series isn’t always as good as it sounds. He started by explaining that he deeply enjoyed his time on the show, calling it the best experience of his life.
It was the greatest thing that happened to me and I was lucky to play such a cool character. I felt I was doing important acting.
However, there was one drawback that made him question the character that he was playing. One of the best things about Matthew Weiner’s series is the fact that it has multiple, fleshed-out characters. Everyone gets their spotlight, and the stories are very well written.
I didn’t get my due a lot. I was there for sometime. It was a giant cast with many stories to tell.

While this can be an excellent thing in the early seasons, it leaves little room for new characters to have similar arcs when they enter the show in its fifth season. During the interview, Feldman spoke on this as well, stating that since so much was going on within the series, he did not get to explore all of the layers of his character.
