While RPGMetaphor: ReFantaziowas just released earlier this month, game directorKatsura Hashinoisn’t resting on his laurels, as the developer is already working on his next project.

Metaphor: ReFantazio Director Katsura Hashino Is Already Working on His Next Game

This confirmation comes from Hashino himself in an interview withFamitsu(translated byGenki). Hashino was asked what he was thinking of creating next after Metaphor, to which Hashino replied, “Oh, I have already started.” The game director added that he doesn’t think what to do as an individual but as a whole alongside his team stating, “I don’t really think about what to do as an individual. I look at Atlus as a whole and think about what is best for our team to create right now. Firstly, I want the users to be happy, and, as a result, I hope the company will be happy as well. That is how I always work.”

Chances are, given Hashino’s past work, this will be another RPG, and I doubt fans are complaining about that.

In the same chat with the Japanese mag, Hashino also confirmed thathe doesn’t look at user feedback on his gamessince they’re not good for his mental health. While chances are slim that we’ll hear about this project anytime soon, players should still be busy exploring the United Kingdom of Euchronia now, and if you need help, we havea slew of guides availableto guide you in your quest.
