Despite achieving critical and commercial success with her acting performances, one of the lowest points in the actress’ career came in the form of the 2004 superhero-dramaCatwoman, which was critically panned.

During a recent interview, Berry addressed the failure ofCatwoman, revealing how she felt after the movie flopped at the box office. During her appearance on the late-night talk show, Berry spoke about turning 58-years-old. At the same time, she was also asked about the 20th anniversary ofCatwoman, which the actress commemorated with a post onInstagram. Furthermore, Berry explained her thoughts on why the film failed to perform well critically and in theaters. The actress revealed that a Catwoman-centric film, with a Black lead and Batman’s absence, irked the superhero movie fans of the early 2000s.
