Marvel Rivalsis off to a great start, having already amassedover 10 million players. Plus, it’spretty fun, too!

We’ve had a chance to give every hero a spin to determine which are thebest to play, but what about the most annoying ones? After spending countless hours playing the game, oh boy, are there some superheroes that have made me rage.

Marvel Rivals Jeff Punisher Squirrel Girl

Marvel Rivals: 10 Best Characters For Beginners

In Marvel Rivals, characters like Jeff the Land Shark and The Punisher are better for newer players looking to build their skill.

Here are the most annoying heroes to play against inMarvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals Loki-1

The Trickster God

While Loki isn’t as powerful as otherMarvel Rivals strategists, he’s certainly one of the more annoying to play against.

The big reason is his doppelganger ability, which creates illusions throughout the map. There have been countless times I thought I finally killed the enemy Loki before realizing it was just an illusion.

Marvel Rivals Squirrel Girl hero

These illusions aren’t just for show; they cast some of Loki’s abilities, which help heal the enemy team. You can’t ignore them, but you’re never really happy killing them.

9Squirrel Girl

Squirrel Stampede!

Imagine ifOverwatch’s Junkrat was even better. That’s Squirrel Girl, capable of packing a serious punch with her acorn grenades.

As a ranged duelist, she excels at attacking from the backline, throwing a constant barrage of grenades. Effective players can also easily deal with threats at close range.

Marvel Rivals Hawkeye

Her Tail Bounce means you can escape tricky situations when being dove on, and her Mammal Bond means she can immediately reload and keep firing.

If you’re unlucky enough to have a Spider-Man on the other team, the Webbed Acorn Team-Up ability unlocks, giving her some much-needed crowd control.

Marvel Rivals Wolverine

Boom, Headshot!

Hawkeye is incredibly annoying to play against in the hands of a skilled player.

His ability to one-shot heroes helps turn the tide of battle in the blink of an eye. He is also super agile and difficult to shoot down.

Sure, you may play an assassin-style Duelist like Spider-Man or Iron Fist to overwhelm them with speed and punches, but his Skyward Leap lets him easily get out of harm’s way.

Combined with Crescent Slash and Hypersonic Arrow, countering divers is easier than you think.

7Wolverine

I Never Quit

While not as strong as everyone initially thought when he launched, Wolverine is a melee Duelist with a serious punch and incredible survivability.

Thematically, it makes sense; Wolverine is known for his regeneration abilities.

Having his health regeneration be a passive effect buffed when dealing damage means Wolverine will be constantly looking for the next battle.

Give him a pocket healer, and he will be nearly immortal. Oh, and he doesa lotof damage, too.

6Jeff the Land Shark

The ultimate troll

While Jeff’s hitbox doesn’t do him any favors, he’s probably the easiest hero inMarvel Rivalsto play, and that means you’ll be seeing a lot of him.

He’s a healer capable of wiping out entire teams, and the reason is his ultimate: It’s Jeff! This Ult swallows the opposing team and lets you swim across the map before spitting them out.

Yes, this means you may either throw them off the ledge or suicide yourself, taking the enemy team with you.

It’s crazy how versatile he is in action, and most annoyingly, they can dive under the surface to evade attacks when you finally have them cornered.

If he wasn’t so damn cute, we’d all probably want to beat him to a pulp, but look at that little face.

5Doctor Strange

I’ve come to bargain

Doctor Strange isn’t the onlyMarvel RivalsVanguard with a protective shield, but his added utility makes him incredibly annoying to play against.

His Pentagram of Farallah is one of the best utility abilities in the game. It allows allies to quickly traverse the map, meaning a team wipe means little with Strange in their ranks.

How quickly he can deal damage pushes Doctor Strange over the edge. He’s a devastating force on the battlefield that, in the hands of the right player, refuses to die.

Plus, you haven’t lived until you levitate and block a Hela ultimate from doing any damage.

4Cloak & Dagger

Sword & Shield

Cloak & Dagger is one of the most enjoyable heroes to play, and by extension, a nightmare to play against.

Not only do they offer an impressive amount of healing for your team through Cloak, but Dagger’s toolkit is designed to be as annoying as possible.

From shrouding your team for a surprise ambush to blinding the enemy team, there are few things inMarvel Rivals that aremore frustrating than playing against Cloak & Dagger.

They offer a never-ending supply of healing while being able to solo opposing heroes. Even when being bombarded, they can easily defend themselves and ward off the most dangerous threats.

We are hungry!

Who’s that swinging through the air, wreaking havoc, and picking off your allies one by one? No, it’s not Spider-Man, it’s Venom!

Eddie Brock may not be as nimble as Peter Parker, but he’s still capable of quickly diving into the enemy backline and dishing out tremendous damage. Unlike the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, though, he refuses to go down easily.

Symbiotic Resilience means he can generate bonus health to last longer in a fight. The lower your health, the more bonus health you’re given, meaning that an enemy Venom isn’t assumed dead until the game confirms the kill.

2Iron Fist

Public Enemy Number 1

If this list were based on Twitter’s opinion, Iron Fist would easily be the most annoying hero to play against inMarvel Rivals.

Iron Fist thrives at diving into the enemy backline, soloing a ranged Duelist or Strategist, and living to tell the tale. Even when he’s converged upon, he’ll often come out victorious.

The biggest reason for this is the Chi Absorption passive. Whenever Iron Fist assists in taking down enemies, he absorbs their Chi and gains bonus health. Combined with his impressive damage profile, it means the more he kills, the more he heals.

1Spider-Man

You know who I am

The hardest hero to play inMarvel Rivalsis also the most annoying to play against.

Going against a Spider-Man who knows what they’re doing is like taking on Doc Ock in a juggling contest. As strong as Iron Fist is at diving into the enemy backline, Spider-Man is even better.

He slings into action, combos fragile enemies into oblivion, and jumps out of harm’s way in the blink of an eye.

The aptly named Get Over Here! is a great way to isolate enemies, pulling them in so you don’t have to dive into perilous action.

Spider-Man is also ridiculously difficult to take down due to his high speed. If you can successfully snipe down Peter Parker, count your blessings; you’re in rare company.
