Marvel Rivals Hero Tier List: All Characters Ranked

A breakdown of every hero currently in Marvel Rivals

However, each character in Marvel Rivals has varying levels of user-friendliness. Even if you have a favorite hero, their kit may be a bit too complicated to use out of the box.

Marvel Rivals Jeff the Land Shark

If you’re looking to get a little better at the game before you commit to your favorite, there are some characters with simpler mechanics and abilities that are good for beginners.

10Jeff The Land Shark

Point And Heal

The cutest little apex predator on land or sea, Jeff the Land Shark is like your childhood puppy with a lot more teeth.

Jeff is one of the game’s most straightforward support units. His primary, Joyful Splash, unleashes a constant stream of healing water, rapidly-restoring any allies in its path.

Marvel Rivals Punisher

Jeff can also set up heals for later with Healing Bubble, aiding allies that he can’t reach with his primary.

While he’s not an offensive unit, Jeff can hold his own if necessary. His Aqua Burst secondary and his ultimate, It’s Jeff, pack more damage than you might expect.

Marvel Rivals Iron Man

9The Punisher

The Standard Shooter Package

Frank Castle, AKA the Punisher, is an old-school vigilante with a seething hatred of the criminal element and a very itchy trigger finger.

Punisher is a great choice for those who prefer to emphasize the “shooter” aspect of hero shooters with straightforward ranged DPS.

Marvel Rivals Squirrel Girl

He can swap on the fly between an assault rifle and shotgun, disorient enemies with Scourge Grenade, and set up a Culling Turret for a sustained attack.

His ultimate, Final Judgement, shreds through health bars like tissue paper and doesn’t require much strategizing beyond holding M1 and running forward.

Free-Flying Artillery

After recovering from a near-fatal injury, Tony Stark became the invincible Iron Man, a cool exec with a heart of steel and the public face of the Avengers.

Iron Man’s free-flying ability and various ranged options make him agreat offensive unitfrom any angle.

His primary and secondary boast splash damage and sustained damage, respectively, and both can be temporarily powered up with Armor Overdrive.

His ultimate, Invincible Pulse Cannon, is powerful enough to immediately KO multiple foes if they’re caught in its large radius.

7Squirrel Girl

We’re Goin’ Nuts

Doreen Green, better known as Squirrel Girl, has all the powers of a squirrel and a girl. She’s also canonicallydefeated Thanos. Look it up.

Squirrel Girl’s primary, Burst Acorn, allows you to set up tricky ambush shots over walls, while her Tail Bounce can give you some elevation if you need a clearer shot.

Her real draw is her Mammal Bond ability, which immediately reloads Burst Acorn and lets her use her next ability without a cooldown.

Add all that to the bouncing, sustained damage of her ultimate, Unbeatable Squirrel Tsunami, and Squirrel Girl is a full-on force of nature.

Offense And Defense In One Package

A mutant with powerful magnetic manipulation abilities, Magneto stands forthe escalation of mutants above humankindat any cost.

Magneto is the complete package of both offense and defense, dealing sustained damage with his primary and secondary while shielding himself and allies with his abilities.

Marvel Rivals: All Maps Ranked Worst to Best

From Wakanda to Yggsard and everywhere in between.

In fact, with the help of Iron Bulwark, you may transform damage taken into even greater firepower.

If you’re really in the thick of it, Magneto’s ultimate, Meteor M, will allow you to turn enemy projectiles back on them, so long as you remember to launch it before it self-destructs.

Hands-Off Healing

An alien girl with powerful empathic abilities, Mantis uses her control over the psyche to aid the Guardians of the Galaxy.

If you want to play support but don’t want to be right in the thick of things, Mantis is a sound choice.

Her secondary, Healing Flower, grants healing over time to a single ally. Mantis can launch several of these at once, healing multiple allies simultaneously.

If no one needs healing, use your Orbs on Allied Inspiration to grant damage bonuses. If the whole party’s in trouble, Mantis’ ultimate, Soul Resurgence, provides a large field of healing.

4Rocket Raccoon

High Mobility, Varied Support

The pint-sized, short-tempered fix-it man of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket will stick a heavy-duty weapon right in your face at the smallest perceived slight.

In addition to the high mobility afforded by his small build and multiple movement abilities, Rocket brings various kinds of support to the table.

He can heal allies directly with Repair Mode and deploy the B.R.B. to revive allies and provide armor bonuses.

When pushing the objective, use Rocket’s ultimate, C.Y.A., to provide all nearby allies with a damage buff.

3Scarlet Witch

Gets Stronger As She Fights

With a mastery of chaos magic, Wanda Maximoff’s existence as the Scarlet Witch would make her a potentialuniverse-level threatif she weren’t an Avenger.

Scarlet Witch is the one character you don’t want to end up in a DPS race against, because you’ll always lose it.

Her primary, Chaos Control, deals sustained damage based on the enemy’s health percentage. The Chaos Energy it builds can be used for her secondary, Chthonian Burst, which deals heavy splash damage.

When enemies are bunched up, stun them with Dark Seal, then wipe them all out with her ultimate, Reality Erasure.

2Star-Lord

Rapid-Action Duelist

Half-human, half-alien, Peter Quill is the self-styled Star-Lord, leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Star-Lord is good for players who want toget right into the thick of things, harassing foes in their faces with his Element Guns and Blaster Barrage.

Star-Lord’s Rocket Propulsion and Stellar Shift abilities grant movement bonuses and dodge rolls, respectively, with the latter also reloading his Element Guns.

His ultimate, Galactic Legend, automatically locks on to targets while you fly freely through the air.

Highly-Agile Damage Sponge

Disgruntled former journalist Eddie Brock plus Spider-Man’s cast-off alien symbiote suit equalsthe lethal protector, Venom.

Venom’s primary job is to swing around the stage and make a nuisance of himself. Despite his size, his Venom Swing and Frenzied Arrival skills make him surprisingly agile.

His secondary, Cellular Corrosion, allows him to slow and damage foes he comes across, while Symbiotic Resilience allows him to immediately restore lost health with temporary bonus health.

In a pinch, Venom’s ultimate, Feast of the Abyss, hides him from damage before he attacks enemies in a group and gains more bonus health.
