A report bybusinesswirecontains more technical details and also the intended price tag. Ujesh Desai, Vice President and General Manager at Logitech, has described their vision for this new console and explained that Logitech wanted to build a device dedicated solely to Cloud gaming. That means much more specialized and comfortable controls in addition to longer battery life to support running games for longer periods than phones, and of course, a dedicated HD screen to accommodate all the recent breakthroughs in gaming and associated technology. In short, gamers shouldn’t have to compromise to enjoy the games they love.

For that reason, Logitech G CLOUD Handheld will come with a battery life that lasts for more than half a day, and it will be a lightweight model at just 463 grams — just barely over one pound. The console will also have a seven-inch full 1080p 16:9 HD touchscreen and 60HZ refresh rate, in addition to re-mappable controls with haptics and gyroscope support. Even the Steam Deck could only lastaround six hourswhen running games with average demands, so it’s a great deal for passionate gamers.

Logitech G will support Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription at launch, but it also gives you access to stream your entire gaming library via Remote Play, whether its on your Xbox Console, on Steam via Steam Link, or on other remote play or streaming apps via the Google Play Store.Engadgetdelivers more details about memory and processing power, saying the console will have 64G of memory at launch, but it can be expanded through external Micro SDs. Also it will run on an octo-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, a benchmark for gaming since its release in 2020.

Logitech G CLOUD Handheld comes with a $349.99 price tag, but with preorders available now at Amazon and Best Buy, interested players can reserve their own copy now for a $50 discount for a limited time.
