“We love diving. We got our diving licenses together. And we, one day, we were on vacation, and he was like, ‘Mil, You got to be up at 8 a.m. We’re going on a dive'”
Millie Bobby Brownfurther revealed that her beau insisted on going to the same spot to dive, which is when their special moment began to unfold.
“So, we go under, and we’re, like, many meters down, and he gives me, like, a shell, and I, like, turn it over, and it’s a ring.”

As they were unable to speak while keeping their oxygen masks on, Bongiovi put the ring on her finger. However, a little mishap happened when the actress showed him the ring. Her ring fell off, leading it to plummet onto the ocean floor.
“Anyways, he puts the ring on my hand, and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger, plummets…It was, like, a cinematic movie…Jake threw himself into the, like, so deep. Like, the diver was like, you can’t do that. Like, your ears, your, literally, your brain will explode. He throws himself, he does a cinematic grab and he saved the ring.”
She added how her fiancé’s actions were“a reflection of who he is”as she added that they will have each other’s back always. However, the story just doesn’t end there as the ring itself has an interesting story.
