A fun game mode that used to be in previousCoDtitles is the Prop Hunt. The mode, however, is absent from Activision’s latest titles, but it seems likeLEGO Fortnitewill utilize its popularity by incorporating it.
What Is the Prop Hunt in LEGO Fortnite?
As stated in the description of the game mode onFortnite‘s officialwebsite, the game mode sees players hiding as props on a giant map and players from the opposing team. The opposing team, known as the Seekers, must find and eliminate all the players hiding in the garb of props.

This is similar to how the game mode was available inCall of Duty, barring some intricacies specific to some maps in the FPS title. The game mode was revealed to be coming to Epic’s battle royale title as part of the State of Unreal 2024 showcase.
The ability to create custom LEGO islands using the Unreal Editor forFortnitewas also unveiled at the showcase and then added to the game. The Prop Hunt mode has also been launched as an island forLEGO Fortniteand two additional islands, namely the LEGO Battle Arena and LEGO Cat Island Adventure.

If anything, various content creators that focus primarily on Activision’s FPS title still make content in the game mode. The reason is simple: it appeals to the audience and has the moment-to-moment thrill usually seen in a fun game of hide and seek.

CoDabandoned this game mode long ago, creating a vacuum in the industry. Epic Games saw it as the perfect opportunity to include it as one of LEGO’s Official Custom Islands. And also launch Custom Islands and allow everyone to create their own islands.
