Kirby and the Forgotten Land’s post-game features revisit past levels in the mysterious world of Forgo Dreams. To rescue Leon, formerly Leongar and the King of the Beast Pack, Kirby must venture through the strange and otherworldly land of Fecto Forgo’s dreams while collecting fragments of Leon’s soul. Upon reaching the final area, Forgo Land, Kirby and Elfilin manage to reawaken the stolen Beast King - who quickly falls under Fecto Forgo’s control. After a quick battle, it seems like Forgo is going to deal with Kirby personally… However, they’re interrupted by a familiar scarlet butterfly who absorbs the invader and manifests itself as the knight that set the Kirby community ablaze;Morpho Knight!

Morpho Knight is the final boss of the post-game mode Forgo Dreams. Morpho can also be fought in the Arena after beating Forgo Dreams, and he drops the blueprint to themost powerful weaponin the game, theMorpho Knight Sword. However, Morpho won’t give up without a fight, and what a fight he puts up. He fights similarly to Meta Knight, but has some twists and tricks that set him apart from the lonesome knight.Dragon Fireis a recommended ability for this fight; Dragon Fire can quickly rack up a lot of damage even if Morpho Knight brushes against your flames, and it leaves behind fires that Morpho Knight can run into for chip damage.
Morpho Knight Attacks & Strategy
Morpho Knight attacks with close-range flurries of sword slashes. Getting caught in one will get you hit by the remaining combo, so be careful! Morpho willteleportabout the arena, often with little warning - keep an eye on him at all costs. One of Morpho Knight’s attacks is summoninga wall of firethat expands out to cover the arena. There is a section of the wall that isa bit shorterthan the rest; you can jump over this part. Therest of the wall cannot be jumped over, so make sure to position yourself so you can dodge the flames. Morpho Knight can also summon flaming tornadoes that spread out across the arena; dodge them and try to get a hit in, asMorpho Knight loves movingandwon’t stay in one place for long.
Morpho Knight also attacks with a multitude of projectile attacks. Morpho Knight will firesword beams, often inbursts of two or three, as well asslow-moving homing projectiles. These projectiles will chase you forquite a long time, so make sure to keep them in your sights and dodge them if they get too close.
One of Morpho Knight’s more dangerous attacks is hisshockwave attack. Morpho Knight will charge up, andrelease green and purple shockwavesthat willscramble your controls and tilt the camera. While not particularly deadly, this move can easily disorient the player and make it hard to control Kirby. If you can easily adjust to the obstruction, this attack won’t be too difficult - but be warned that Morpho Knight will take full advantage of any confusion you may feel after being hit by this puzzling attack. Morpho may use this attackmultiple times in a row, so be careful.
After reaching half HP, Morpho Knight will enter his second phase and become more aggressive. Morpho Knight will open the new phase with a brand-new attack; Morpho will duplicate his sword and make them grow as he attacks you. Morpho will teleport after each chop, so be fast and avoid his swords asthey have a long reach. After attacking twice, Morpho Knight will attack with both swords, creatingwalls of firethat will close in on you.Dodge or jumpto avoid this attack.
Defeating Morpho Knight will reward you with a heartwarming cutscene of Leon being revived by the Beast Pack. After returning to Waddle Dee Town, you will now have access to the Morpho Knight Sword blueprint, a new Arena tournament, and more.
