However, if you do miss it, don’t worry—the Kuttenberg Tournament is repeatable and will return the following week.

Winning the Tournament

Each Kuttenberg Tournament features three duel types: sword and shield, longswords, and free combat. Participating in each category requires Henry todefeat two opponentsin best-of-three bouts, totaling four to six fights per event.

In sword and board and longsword events, tournament gear is provided and must be used—your own equipment must be temporarily unequipped. Only in free combat can Henry use his personal weapons and armor.

Speaking to the tournament armorer in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Participating in both sword and shield and longsword duels requires two different sets of assigned gear. Between fights, be sure to visit the armorer to have your loadout changed accordingly. If you forget or enter the wrong fight with the wrong set of gear, the guild will accuse you of theft and fine you 500 groschen.

Feel free to explore the surrounding area between tournament routes. You can always take this time torepair gear, usealchemy potions, or even visit the nearby bathhouse for healing and buffs. If you’re seeking a more underhanded route, you can even choose topoison your opponent’s wine, found in a keg near the warm-up area.

This can give you a serious edge—just make sure no one sees you tampering with it, as getting caught will result in disqualification or worse.

Always return in time for your next scheduled bout. If you’re late, you automatically forfeit your position in the tournament, no matter how well you’ve done up to that point.

Choosing Your Reward

Upon successfully winning an event in the Kuttenberg Tournament, Henry will be led to the reward area, where three chests await. Each chest corresponds to one of the event types. To receive your reward, open the chest that matches the duel type you participated in—this will be clearly labeled and marked with the “take” action instead of “rob.”

Each victory grants 200 groschen along with a random high-tier piece of armor or weapon. Some exclusive gear, such as the highly covetedKuttenberg Longsword, is only obtainable by winning the tournament. These unique items make the Kuttenberg Tournament a key activity for players focused on collecting rare gear and building their combat prowess.
