“It’s clear and it’s obvious that we’re working on this. It’s been in the press numerous times. What I will say is that the game is alive and well, and we’re dedicated to making sure we exceed consumer expectations.”

Despite one of the first positive updates in a long while, Karch failed to reveal further details about the game, including the expected release date. Even though fans had been initially excited over the prospect of a remake, many now seem to have changed their opinions. As soon as Karch’s remarks went viral, many expressed disappointment instead of excitement.

No i lost faith in this game you claim it’s alive and well but keeping us in the dark doesn’t look alive and well to me give us new info and trailers that indicates this game really isn’t dead but keeping us in the dark since it was announced in 2021 isn’t a good sign.

It may be alive, but well?? That is a speculation at best. Until they start marketing it and show gameplay footage, it doesn’t exist. It’s taken way too long for us to not see any hint of progress other than words in the air.

While the majority of fans seemed to have lost all hope about the game, there are still some pretty excited over the prospect of reliving their childhood.
