According to a theory posted byu/Sweetsheepgardeneron reddit, as per Rika’s profile, her mother unexpectedly passed away at the age of five due to unidentified causes. As for her father, Rika and her father got lost while mountain climbing two days before she started elementary school. Rika’s father had died inexplicably, and a week later, she was discovered by herself and saved from a shelter close to the summit.
Rika was taken in by her grandmother, who was convinced that she murdered both of her parents. The theory states that Rika killed her parents when she was five or six years old because she was likely abused by them when she was a child. Her hatred gave her an enormous excess of cursed energy because it was at that age that the cursed energy developed.
