The second season ofJujutsu Kaisenhas been electrifying since the start, treating us with relentless battles and deaths.The arrival of Toji Fushigurostirs unsettlement, leaving us guessing who will live or die. Theunpredictability of the plothas putseveral major characters on the verge of death, including the Six-Eyed Socerer Gojo Satoru and the famous Curse Manipulator Suguru Geto. While the former’s well-being has been recently confirmed in Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, in episode 4, Suguru Geto’s life is still questioned. With Riko Amanai’s death being confirmed, one thing is clear: everyone’s life hangs in the air in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, and Suguro Geto is no different.

The powers of Curses never fail to impress us in Jujutsu Kaisen.
After demonstrating his ruthlessness on Gojo Satoru, Toji entered the Tombs of the Star Corridor and killed Riko Amanai with a single shot in her head. And now, it was time for Geto and Toji to battle. Despite unleashing hisgreatest Cursed Spiritsonto the Sorcerer Killer, the latter was able to overpower all of them and finally gave some deadly blows to Geto, leaving everyone wondering if Suguro Geto is done for or if he will be back soon.
Suguro Geto got behind Toji Fushiguro and believed he got the Sorcerer Killer off-guard. However, it was indeed the opposite. He tried to use his Cursed Spirit Manipulation on the Curse Spirit that Toji carried. Still, before turning it into a Curse ball, Toji attacked Geto instantly, slicing his chest multiple times and sending him flying with a strong kick.
As confirmed by Toji Fushiguro himself in the episode,Suguru Geto is not currently dead.Toji Fushiguro left him alive with some deep but non-lethal cuts, feared the consequences of his death, and wondered if his demise would lead to the release of multiple Cursed Spirits that he had devoured all these years. Toji stated that he would have killed him instantly if he were a Shikigami user instead of a Curse Manipulator.Suguru Geto is well and alive, and his wounds are treated by Shoko Leiri, a former student at Tokyo Jujutsu High and the batchmate of Geto and Gojo.
Does Suguru Geto Die In The Series?
Geto might seem like a nice guy who puts his life on his palm and faces the Cursed Spirits and beings like Toji Fushiguro to save humanity. However, this is the biggest facade we ever witnessed in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. If you have seen Jujutsu Kaisen 0, then you already know what fate Suguru Geto meets; if not, then let us tell you that the Cursed Spirit Manipulator, Suguru Geto, died at the hands of his best friend Gojo Satoru in the movie.
But what were the circumstances that made Gojo take such drastic measures? Well, Geto had a twisted mentality, and he always believed they lived in a world where the strong should always rule over the weak. But currently, the situation was the opposite, and the Sorcerers had to dedicate their lives to save the non-Sorcerers from the Curses. Geto hated the non-Sorcerers from the bottom of his heart and equally respected the Sorcerers, making him believe that the non-Sorcerers should be completely eliminated from the world.
To carry on his plan to get rid of the non-Sorcerers, he orchestrated a plan to take over the Queen of Curses, Rika, whose powers would have been the greatest asset he could add to his arsenal and carry on with his twisted plans. However, Yuta and Rika were incredibly strong, and Geto was cornered in the battle.He escaped his death, only to be found by his best friend, Gojo, in the alleyway, where the two had their last conversation before Gojo finally killed Geto.Geto wasn’t always the kind of person he became in the future, but after Riko Amanai’s death, his perception of society started to change.
Can Suguru Geto Still Ruturn In Jujutsu Kaisen?
In Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 10, we got a good hint that made us believe thatSuguru Geto might still be aliveand might make a return to the series somehow.Trapped in the Prison Realm, Gojo attempted to wake up Suguru Geto, who was inside Kenjaku. Gojo called out Geto’s name and asked why he allowed others to control him.
Surprisingly, Geto’s body responded as if it wanted to fight Kenjaku. Geto’s fingers moved, and he tried to choke him. The Curse mentioned that this was the first time this had happened, indicating that Suguru Geto might still be alive somewhere inside, and Gojo’s voice triggered a reaction in him. In the future of the series,even if Geto doesn’t fully return, we could sense his influence as he helps the Sorcerers defeat Kenjaku while living within the Curse’s body.
