Recently, his long-time friend,Lou Adler, was on theWTF With Marc Maronpodcast and revealed some interesting details about Nicholson.
“A friend of mine wanted to put him in a movie. And he had a conversation with him. But Jack says, ‘I don’t want to do it.’ He goes, ‘You know what I did today? I sat under a tree, and I read a book.'”
Adding on, he stated that the Hollywood legend has been enjoying his life ever since his withdrawal from the world of entertainment and glitz.
“Jack’s doing whatever he really wants to do. He wants to be quiet. He wants to eat what he wants, he wants to live the life he wants.”
While his countless loyal fans would love to see him again on the big screen one last time, they understand that the Oscar-winning actor owes his life and his time and deserves to spend it with ease and comfort after giving some of the best performances in the history of cinema to the audience.
