Even after three months of its release, Helldivers 2 is still quite unstable and buggy. This got worse with the addition of the new EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit as many players reported that their games crashed after they called in two of these Exosuits at the same time on the battlefield. Not everyone has been facing this problem, but a message from the code team lead has confirmed that this is due to resource management.
A similar problem occurred when the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit was released in March 2024. The problem was swiftly fixed by Arrowhead Game Studios so hopefully, this issue with the new Exosuit will also be fixed very soon.
Using 2 EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit drops the fps in Helldivers 2
After completing a recent Major Order,Helldivers 2 players finally got the EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit. Using this Exosuit on the battlefield is very exciting, as long as a second one isn’t called in. Apparently, many players have reported that their game was lagging or it simply crashed after a second EXO-49 Emancipator Exosuit entered the battlefield. Not everyone experienced this issue but a frame drop was noticed by a significant number of players.
Helldivers 2 Should Add 1 Small Quality of Life Change to the Mechs to Actually Make Them Good
Arrowhead is aware of this problem as the code team lead has revealed why players are facing this problem. A community manager recently passed on the code team lead’s message to the community, which was shared on ther/Helldivers2subreddit. As per the message, this issue is occurring because mechs require a lot of system resources. To tackle this problem, they have put a cap on the number of mechs. it has been confirmed that they are working on this problem and there will be a fix soon.

Many players found it unusual that Helldivers 2 had no vehicles since the first game featured several vehicles that could be used on the battlefields. This problem revealed by the code team lead explains why Arrowhead has not added any vehicles to the game yet.Players have been asking the studios to add some sort of vehicle to the gameother than the Exosuit but it will only be possible after Arrowhead sorts this issue out.

This is not the first time an Exosuit has annoyed the players as the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit also caused game crashes when it was first released. Players not only have to battle Terminid bugs but also technical bugs, but there is one Emancipator Exosuit bug that they can use to their advantage right now.
As per a Reddit post onr/Helldivers, Factory Strider does not fire ts miniguns at players who are in the Emancipator Exosuit. This will surely get patched in the future, so make sure you take advantage of this while you may.
