With the ever-expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe at our dispense, the audience barely has to wait before the studio juggernaut spawns a project leading on to the next Phase or the next big event. With 2025 fast approaching, the big event is set to beAvengers 5– which, due to the faults of the parties involved, is now about to happen with or without Jonathan Majors’s Kang the Conqueror.

While that premise is no longer valid or feasible, the studio has turned to other IPs within its existing catalog – and we may finally know who it is.

Avengers 5is a Go – But Not Without a Few Hitches First

With the studio’s primary choice,Jonathan Majorsas Kang the Conqueror, clearly out of the picture, Marvel has no time on its hands to concoct a 5-year-plan for how best to tie off the post-Endgameera universe. As such, desperation among the upper ranks has filtered down into the audience as fans have begun to pitch theories and possible plotlines to neatly tie up Phases Four, Five, and Six.

With the Multiverse being an integral building block of the formulating plans, the MCU need not look much further into the future to find an answer to its current problem.
