Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2is just two months away and the reveals from developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment has fans excited. Fans expect the game to be one of the best titles to launch this year.
However, some fans are getting worried about the game due to some recent developments around it. They are still hyped but are concerned that the game may not be as much of a success as they are hoping it to be.
Fans Are Worrying for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2

However, it seems like therecent cancelation of multiplayer betaand a couple other things are making fans doubt about the game. Reddit user Thomas_Wales took to theSpace Marinesubreddit and said that they are hyped for the game but are also getting slightly concerned that this will bomb.
The reason they gave for this was the multiplayer public beta cancelation, rumors of paid DLC, and most importantly, missing minimum/recommended system specifications. They asked the community if there could be a valid reason why the developer has not shared system specs yet.
While most developers share system specifications months before the game is due out, it is also a normal practice to reveal the specs closer to the launch. This doesn’t mean that the game is not in good condition, is facing delays, or has any other issues. Fans believe the specs will be revealed soon.
Fans Are Asking the Player to Be Patient
Fans responded to the player and said that there is nothing to be worried and they should be patient and wait for the developer. One player said that the game is built with PS5 as lead development so the most optimization will be for the console and PC specs may not be the greatest right now.

When the developer announced the cancelation of multiplayer beta, it said that the game is ready, meaning that the development is complete. Therefore, the developer is focusing on polishing the game and making other optimizations.
This is so that the game is issue-free upon launch. This also means that the developer will use optimization to determine the specs for the game and then release them to the players. User Next_Image2571 said that the game will run on Series S so it will be the most logical specification for minimum requirements.
