Hollywood star Dakota Johnson is all set to enter the superhero world as Cassandra Webb aka Madame Web who is an integral character in the Spider-Man Universe. Playing the clairvoyant mutant who becomes an ally to Spider-Man is an opportunity for Johnson to become a pivotal part of one of Hollywood’s popular superhero franchises.

Madame Webwhich is set to release in February 2024, has been gaining a lot of hype for not just theFifty Shades of Greystar, but also for the presence of Sydney Sweeney. However, from Johnson’s seemingly hesitant reaction to her experience with CGI and the special effects of the film before it even hits the screen, fans are wondering if the actor is already predicting its failure.

Dakota Johnson’s2024 is already looking promising with the star bagging the key role of Cassandra Webb in the Marvel/Sony collaborationMadame Web. The character who is a key player in the Spider-Man saga from the comic book world, will be seen for the first time on screen when the film releases in February. Johnson who has become the heartthrob of many after her s*xy turn in theFifty Shades of Greyfranchise, looks to have what it takes to nail this role.
But from what the actor seems to be insinuating, the visual and technical aspects ofMadame Webmay have intimidated her a lot more than she expected. Speaking toEntertainment Weeklyregarding the doubts that she had about having done justice to the part, Johnson stated,

“I’ve never really done a movie where you are on a blue screen, and there’s fake explosions going off, and someone’s going, ‘Explosion!’ and you act like there’s an explosion“That to me was absolutely psychotic. I was like, ‘I don’t know if this is going to be good at all! I hope that I did an OK job!’”
Johnson went on to add that she tried to compensate for her fears by working extremely hard with the blue screen to ensure that she was able to turn in a realistic performance as Madame Web.

While Johnson may have been cautiously hopeful that her effort would come to fruition, her comments have made fans a bit apprehensive about how the film will turn out. In a few weeks, all doubts will be cleared with the release onMadame Web.
