Mackie has been very vocal about his admiration of Ford, considering how significant the actor’s contributions have been to the film industry. Their first scene together was supposed to involve an argument. However, the initial takes were disastrous as Mackie forgot his lines. In fact, all that was coming out of his mouth were incoherent babbles as he fully realized who he was working with.

After three takes of Anthony Mackie being overwhelmed by Harrison Ford’s presence, theIndiana Jonesactor decided to take matters into his own hands. He brought Mackie out into the hallway to have a conversation with him so that they could get on with filming the movie.
You know, it’s not that big of a deal… Relax, kid… All right. Let’s go.
Ford understood the reason why Mackie was acting the way that he was and told him that it did not have to be that big of a deal that they were working together. Then he told him to relax.
