Guerrilla showcased their brand new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West with a surprise reveal of The Matrix actor, Carrie-Anne Moss.
With just under a month until its release,Horizon Forbidden Westhas stormed straight out of the gate with a brand new story trailer.
The three-minute trailer is jammed pack with stunning details that include new scenes to feast your eyes on, stunning locations and new characters, and, of course, some familiar faces making a return.
If you happened to watch the entirety of the trailer right until the end, you will have seen one of these new characters revealed who goes by the name of Tilda, played byThe Matrix’s Carrie-Anne Moss. Guerrilla has used Moss' voice and also motion capture.
New Horizon Forbidden West Character, Tilda, Revealed
At the end of the newHorizon Forbidden West’s trailer, a voice narrates the scene as Aloy is walking towards a bright light “We will find the answers but beware, we’re not the only ones that seek them” and with that, the figure in the distance surrounded by the light turns around to be revealed as Tilda in a brief encounter.
As perGeek Culture, Ben McCaw, the Narrative Director forHorizon Forbidden West, gave the site a small sneak peek regarding Tilda. “She’s a very mysterious character with a special relationship with the ancient past,” McCaw teases.
In thePlayStation Blog, McCaw talked about the game’s characters as well as Aloy’s new upcoming dangers “The next chapter of Aloy’s story begins on February 18, and she’ll face a storm of new threats: a world-ending blight, Regalla and her rebels, Sylens and his machinations… plus many new dangers that have yet to be revealed,” Said McCaw
“But as she ventures into the frontier of the Forbidden West, Aloy won’t face these perils alone. She’ll be joined by companions both fresh and familiar, including stalwarts like Varl and Erend, along with new allies like Zo, Alva, and Kotallo.”
Who is Carrie-Anne Moss?
Carrie-Anne Moss is a 54-year-old Canadian actor who you may know better as Trinity inThe Matrixmovies. She has also starred in the filmSilent Hill: Revelationas Claudia Wolf andDaredevilas Jeri Hogarth.
Out of the spotlight, Moss is the founder ofAnnapurna Living, a lifestyle brand designed to empower women through mindfulness, meditation, and devotion.
