Finding Belgruff The Bludgeoner

You can find this Infamous Foe hanging out in Rookwood Castle. This is close to the Feldcroft region of the map. If you’re having trouble finding it, take a look at the image we’ve provided above. While he isn’t difficult to find, this goblin is surrounded by some tough warriors. So, while you could just ride into the middle of things on your broom, you would probably be better off taking a different approach.

Stealth Is Your Best Friend

Sneaking around is going to benefit you here, as this place is crawling with enemies. Cast disillusionment on yourself, sneak in, and cast revelio to get an idea of just how many foes you’ll be up against. The good news is that some of them will spread out. For these enemies, it’s worth sneaking up behind them and executing a stealth attack. Well, Petrficus Totalus. Do this as much as you’re able to. The more goblins you can take out without triggering the boss or guards, the better off you’ll be during the big fight.

Take Out Additional Goblins

Inevitably, your stealth luck is probably going to run out, and when it does, you’ll be facing down a handful of baddies. The strategy here is to keep moving, because a lot of them will charge at you. Try to match your spell color to their shields, as that will break their shields temporarily. If you know the crucio curse, you can also use that to break any color shield in front of you. You’ll also want to watch your “danger sense,” the sigil around your head that warns you about incoming attacks. Use Protego as much as possible and throw Stupefy around like it’s going out of style. The more enemies you can stun, the easier they will be to take down. If you can, save your ancient magic for the big boss.

Defeating Belgruff The Bludgeoner

Oddly enough, this is probably the easiest part of the fight. Without his minions around, this boss really isn’t so tough. If you hit him with ancient magic and some red spells, he’s most likely going to fold pretty quickly. If he has a shield up, just remember to match the color of his shield to the color of your spell. If you’re using ancient magic or Crucio, you don’t have to worry about that too much.
