It goes without saying that Bethesda, as both a developer and a publisher, has a very rich back catalogue of stellar titles.

With over 35 years under their belts, the company has worked on the likes ofSkyrim, Fallout, Skyrim Remastered, Dishonored, Skyrim VR, WolfensteinandSkyrim Anniversary Edition.

The latest game in the company’s repertoire comes from Arcane Studios', in the form ofDeathloop, which has decided to pay homage to Bethesda’s history in a very cool fashion.

Dotted around the world, in a variety of differentDeathlooplocales, is a range of arcade cabinets, each of which is an interesting nod to Bethesda games from times gone by.

Here is every one of the Deathloop arcade cabinet easter eggs that we’ve found so far, and what they all mean.

Hell Crasher

Probably the most recognisable arcade cabinet easter egg of them all isDeathloop’snod toDOOM, in the form of “Hell Crasher”.

The cabinet is encountered early on and includes the typicalDOOMfont as well as one of everybody’s favourite Cacodemon.

Blüdenstein 4-D

“Blüdenstein 4-D” is a callback to 1992 DOS classic,Wolfenstein 3D.

Complete with a stereotypically German-sounding name, “Blüdenstein 4-D” looks like a lot of fun.

Fax Balista

UPDATE: This is actually for a little known title called Arx Fatalis - thanksTom.

ShadeWire Edo

From a piece of gaming history, to what Bethesda surely hopes will be a modern classic,GhostWire: Tokyo.

GhostWire: Tokyo/“ShadeWire Edo"is the onlyDeathlooparcade cabinet that has yet to be released in real life.

Skydaggers V

Now, I took the cheap shot at Skyrim at the beginning of this article, however, it had to be represented in some way. Step forward “Skydaggers V”.

Super Honorless II

Another Arcane Studios classic now,Dishonored 2.

It’s clear thatDeathlooptakes some of its inspiration from the 2016 hit (albeit in a far different environment), so if there’s any game that deserves a place in the easter egg list it’s"Super Honorless II”.

Sounding like your stomach after eating something spicy - “The Bad Inside"is clearly a reference toThe Evil Within, complete with the very looooong T.

The Crossin'

Once again, Tom on Twitter coming to the rescue, with this game representing a cancelled title called, funnily enough,The Crossing.

This title feels a bit lazy, withPrey (2017)being spelt backwards asYerp ‘17.An underrated game nonetheless.

Young Wolf

This seems to be a nod toWolfenstein: The New Colossus(the logo) and its spinoff/sequelWolfenstein: Youngblood(the name).

Killing two birds with one stone is a nice touch by Arcane.

Have we missed any? Have an answer to “The Crossin’”? Let me know on Twitter@CaptainWoodsy
