Where To Encounter Factory Striders

The only places that you can find Factory Striders arethrough the Automaton missionson the western front of the map. Terminid missions will not spawn any Factory Striders, so make sureyou are choosing the right enemy factionwhen trying to hunt one of these hulking machines down.

Further, they seem to only appear during missions when choosing a specific difficulty and higher. As of the time of writing, it looks like they will only start popping up in Automaton missionsat the Level 7 difficulty (Suicide Mission).

Factory Strider Combat Capabilities

While the Factory Strider will largely mind its own business if you stay away from it, once you get close to it,it will start fighting backwith a handful of different methods.

First off, ithas turrets on top of itthat will fire both in front and behind it. These turrets can shred you apart in a matter of seconds, so be wary of how the Strider is positioned and where its turrets are looking.

Best Stratagems To Take Down Factory Striders

Because of its heavy armor and hefty amount of health, you will need touse themost powerful Stratagemsyou can get your hands on to take the Factory Striders down, and it will require some teamwork to do so.

Yourbest bet will be using the 500kg Bomb and Orbital Precision Strike together, as this has shown to take the Factory Striders down in one go. The issue is that both of these Stratagems need to have a majority of their shots hit the Strider for it to go down, and it can be tough to get them both off at the same time if you are solo.

This is whyit’s easier to use teamworkand work as a group. If you can have multiple people call in these Stratagems at the same time to target a Strider, then they will go down pretty easily, and you won’t have to worry about the timing of it nearly as much.

You can alsomix in the Orbital Railcannon Strikewith a third person, if you want, but the 500kg Bomb and Orbital Precision Strike should be more than enough to take care of it.

With the Autocannon Sentry, it isbest used as a supportwhile you take out the Strider’s weak points. It can blast away armor and take some of its attention while you get your shots aimed properly.

There are more than just Factory Striders to fight in Helldivers 2 so make sure you know how to take outevery Automaton enemy typeandevery Terminid enemy type.
