It has been a very chaotic week forHelldivers 2, as the war against the automatons and terminids has been progressing at a steady pace, with the automatons being pushed back until their rather rapid return and the slow evolution of the terminid threat.

To combat these circumstances, below is a list of 5 different stratagems that can be used to turn the tide against these threats. Please keep in mind that the 5 stratagems listed below are not definitively the best in the game, but they do have their moments in the sun and can be useful in different circumstances.
Helldivers 2 Stratagem Number 5: Autocannon
Back when the game was first released, this stratagem was one of the most popular as it allowed players to summon both a backpack and an autocannon, which could be used to deal devastating damage to dozens of enemies. There are two ways to use this stratagem, you can either solo or with a teammate.
Helldivers 2: Johan Pilestedt Confirms 1 Requested Feature will Never Happen: “Swapping one for the other is like having an apple that tastes like bacon”
If you were to use this weapon solo, you would have to equip both the backpack and autocannon, which means that when it comes to reloading, you will have to do it yourself, causing some delays, whereas if you do it with a friend, you will be able to have one player using the weapon while one continually feeds it ammo.
Helldivers 2 Stratagem Number 4: Eagle 500KG Bomb
There is always space for a mini-nuke in your stratagem loadout, as the Eagle 500KG bomb is the perfect choice for destroying heavily fortified structures while also being able to clear out groups of enemies in one fell swoop if you time it right.
Along with the astonishing power behind this massive explosion, there is the small drawback that the main focus of damage is on the point of impact for the payload, but many Helldivers have found that if they time it right and get the payload to impale an enemy, it is essentially a one-shot kill on anything that stands in its path.

Helldivers 2 Stratagem Number 3: Orbital Laser
If you want a major power trip and enjoy a good light show, then the orbital laser is the perfect option for your stratagem loadout, as it can track enemies, last for a reasonable amount of time, and can even be used against buildings.
“Loving Fallout! Only complaint is…”: Even Helldivers 2’s Johan Pilestedt Can’t Get Passed 1 Issue with Prime Video’s Adaptation
The downside to this spectacular stratagem is the fact that it sadly can only be used 3 times within a mission, but if it is used wisely and effectively, it can be the ultimate weapon to clear out some of the tougher challenges that roam the galaxy.
Helldivers 2 Stratagem Number 2: Shield Generator Pack
This stratagem is for players who struggle to survive against the horrifying threats that plague the galaxy. This stratagem summons a backpack for players that provides a protective shield around the individual player, protecting them from a certain amount of damage, and once it is depleted, it can also recharge itself after a short cooldown.
When it comes to surviving inHelldivers 2, this stratagem is the best there is, and it has many bonuses that make it an incredible lifesaver, even if it’s for that last jog to get to extraction.

Helldivers 2 Stratagem Number 1: Quasar Cannon
This stratagem is rather new, as it was only brought into the game a few weeks ago, but it has already made a name for itself as an incredible weapon as players around the world are using this weapon to take down enemies and their ships like they are made out of tissue paper.
“It’s crazy what the community does”: Johan Pilestedt has Been Impressed by the Helldivers 2 Community Since 1 Player Pulled Off the Impossible in the Original
This stratagem boasts a charged explosive energy blast that, when used, can clear out some of the most challenging enemies in the game with ease while also having unlimited ammo, but sadly, withunlimited ammo comes a cooldown system.
Sadly, there is a rather large cooldown between blasts, but when you may essentially destroy a tank in two blasts, it is fair to have a relatively large cooldown.

What do you think about theseHelldivers 2stratagems? Do you already use these different stratagems to bring liberty and democracy to the universe, or do you prefer other options? Let us know in the comments what you think!
