Fans look to the likes ofHalo 2as core gaming memories. In Las Vegas, there is an upcoming LAN Party for the game that will reignite any fans’ passion for the series.

Halo LAN Party in Las Vegas – Every Gamer’s Dream

LVL 50 is hosting aHalo 2LAN Party from November 8-10. Up to 64 teams will battle it out to see who’s the bestHalo 2team in the world. Whether you’re a casual or veteran player, this event is meant to be fun and have gamers share exciting moments with each other in-person.

32 teams are already confirmed with each team consisting of four players. That’s 128 players already entered into the event. We’re less than three months away from November to fill up all 64 slots.

This community is officially hosting one of the largest Halo 2 throwback LANs of all time this year in Las VegasWith 80+ CRT TVs and original Xbox’s, already 32 teams coming, and a completely community funded prize pool. Absolute legendspic.twitter.com/4Yl5Ga5pV9

The event will have over 80 CRT TVs and original Xbox’s. In addition, the prize pool is community funded where 100% ofdonationswill go towards the prize pool. It’s currently more than $41,000.

If you and a few friends want to make your way to Las Vegas for the weekend to compete in a LAN Party, competitive entry is $250 which is for all four players including a coach. If you’d like to spectate, passes start at $20 for one day or $45 for all three days.

Why Is This LAN Party in Las Vegas Important?

Anyone can play competitive games online but there will always be input delay with the connection. On LAN, there’s nearly no connection delay which feels completely different from an online setting.

Fighting games commonly host LAN events at a local or global level. Due to the one versus one nature, it’s easier to host these events. EVO, the Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament, happens every year drawing thousands of eyes to the event.
