Guillermo del Toro has shown his tremendous acting chops in the‘monstrous’sci-fi genre, especially through the giant creatures he showed in hisPacific Rimfilm series. Known as Jaegers, the humanoid monster bots were what quipped fans’ interest in the series, even leading to them asking for a crossover into the Monsterverse after the recent failures of the multi-behemoth-verse movies.

Since both the universes, i.e. Guillermo del Toro’sPacific Rimuniverse and theGodzillaMonsterverse, share a focus on Kaiju in common, a possible collision between the two helmed by del Toro could be nothing short of pure bliss.
The film would include the master Jaegers from thePacific Rimverse who would defend humanity from the destruction by the Kaiju Godzilla from the Monsterverse, bringing about an epic Kaiju-Jaeger crossover.
While the massive Jaegers could be made even more advanced in this crossover by providing them with weapons and defense systems never explored before, Kaiju Godzilla’s game could also be boosted by enhancing and developing the creature’s emotions and intelligence.
