Legal factions would band together against a common enemy, whether it was the player or another faction. On the other hand, illegal factions, such as gangs, would start battles not only with each other but also against law enforcement, creating in-game chaos.
These interactions were accompanied by on-screen messages, notifying the player when a conflict was occurring, making the world come alive.
Integrating this feature into an already impeccable universe that theGTAfranchise has built over the decades, would only improve immersion.
