If you’re hoping to collect Optical Disk C, you should be well-prepared, or it won’t go very well. This guide will tell you exactlyhow to get the Optical Disk C in Grounded 2and what you’re able to do to prepare for the journey there.
Optical Disk C Location
By checking your map, you should notice that Optical Disk C is located on the eastern side of the map, inside the ice cream cart. It isn’t too far away from where your story begins, but be wary, as braving the ice cream truck is more difficult than you might imagine.
You can rideyour Buggieup to right where the ice cream starts, but they won’t go any farther than that.You’re welcome to try and brave the cold with no preparation, but you’ll freeze and die before too long.
You can work around this with a few things like armor and mutations, all of which I’ll cover below.

Preparation for the Ice Cream Cart
Unlike the other Optical Disks, this one is in an area that you won’t be able to get to without some proper gear. Chill builds very quickly, and if you aren’t attempting to mitigate that, it’ll end up being impossible to get the disk, much less explore the cart itself.
I highly recommend investing some time in creating gear that mitigates chill buildup or trying to gather some Spicy Shards to make smoothies or gain access to the Spicy Safety mutation that will give you innate chill reduction.

With a combination of the second level of Spicy Safety, which you can get by eating five spicy shards, and the Fuzzy armor set, you’ll get a 98% reduction in Chill build-up.
If you find yourself in a sticky position, it can be a good idea to drink some Blazin' Brew to raise your Chill Reduction to 100% and prevent build-up for a few minutes.
You can use either torch type to raise your Chill Reduction even higher.

Navigating the Ice Cream Cart
When you get to the ice cream cart, you should be able to easily spot where the large door has fallen open, causing ice cream to pour out everywhere.You’ll want to start by heading towards that opening and making your way inside.
The following are instructions for reaching the Optical Disk once inside the cart:
This can be a great time to explore and check out the cart if you want. Although you will need to be pretty wary, as there are a ton of scorpions buried in the ice cream that will pop out and attack as you pass them.
Scorpions are weak to smashing, so try to use a club-type weapon like the Red Ant Club to help you kill them faster.

Optical Disk C Rewards
Optical Disk C only offers three new unlocks when you take it back to a Ranger Station, but of those three, one of them is incredibly powerful. You’ll unlock the Milk Molar Scanner for purchase, which allows you to get a notification when you approach any Milk Molars, much like it does with Ranger Outposts.
