Best Slugger Tree Abilities
Slugger offers Robinincreases to Critical Chance and Critical Damageas well asimproved damage when striking enemies from behind, but its better skills are certainly its ability to apply Elemental Effects and allow Robin to take advantage of them.
Elemental Decoywill allow Robin’s Decoy Momentum Ability toapply a large amount of Elemental Effect damage to an enemy that attacks it, pairing well with the following skill in the treeExploding Decoythat allowsthe Decoy to leave behind a puddle of Elemental residuewhich will deal Elemental Effect damage to any enemy that walks into it.

The Elemental Effect Damage applied to the enemy from these skills is determined by Robin’s melee weapon, so be sure to find a melee weapon that uses your preferred element. If you’re struggling to pick, Cryogenic is a useful Element to go for.

The Shadow Tree is Robin’s gold mine of skills that will allow him to become the best Stealth-based character in the game. This tree features skills that will allow him to exploit the enemy’s unawareness and remain undetected as he takes each of them down.
Turnabout Takedownis a simple but incredibly useful skill that will allow Robin touse Takedowns and Stealth Strikes on large enemiessuch as Bulldozers, Shockers, and Godmothers. This skill will allow Robin to deal huge damage to these miniboss enemies or even outright kill them with a single use — especially when paired withStealth Damage+, which will increase his stealth strike and takedown damage by 20%.

An ode to the old Arkham games,Vantage Hanging Takedownis a skill that allows Robin toperform a special takedown from vantage pointsthat will hang the target upside down from the vantage point, leaving them screaming and flailing. Pair this with theVantage Hanging Takedown Mine, which will drop a proximity mine that lures enemies after performing a Vantage Hanging Takedown; this combo allows Robin to manipulate his opponents and shepherd them into certain areas, taking them down entirely from within the shadows.

This coupling of skills turns Robin into anexcellent character for controlling opponentsthrough the use of Elemental Effects such as Cryogenic, Bioelectric, and Concussive — or by simply dealing huge amounts of damage through Incendiary and Toxic.
Though a somewhat moresituationalskill,Enhanced Sticky Pelletswill cause Robins Sticky pellets to deal 33% more damage and last up to 10 seconds, this makes his Sticky pelletsgreat for use as traps and luresto bait enemies into certain areas and lure them into stepping on the pellets.
