Inari is the most worshipped god in the entire Shinto religion, being the god of rice, agriculture, sake, and fertility. He’s prevalent in the game through the existence of his shrines, as even in modern-day Japan he has the most shrines out of any other god in the Shinto Pantheon.

Ghost Of Tsushima’s Soundtrack Stopped Me Playing The Game For Years
Ilan Eshkeri and Shigeru Umebayashi’s magnum opus was an outstanding achievement.
This charm focuses on damage, as it increases melee damage for a few seconds after killing an enemy. And, yes, this can stack — meaning that if Jin is on a killing spree, the damage he’s able to inflict on enemies is incredible.
A few seconds is a ton of time in combat, especially in this game, so every instance where Jin is more powerful (and this includes after assassinating an enemy) only makes him a more terrifying threat.
1Charm of Amaterasu
Become Nearly Unkillable
Killing enemies restores a moderate amount of health
Honour Golden Summit Shrine
Ariaka Prefecture, Izuhara Region
The best charm in the entire game is theCharm of Amaterasu, named after the goddess of the sun. It’s a Major Defense Charm.

It’s a stunning shrine of gold and yellow, and is most often the first shrine that players complete — upon honouring the shrine, players are gifted the best charm in the entire game.
The Charm of Amaterasu is a defense charm that focuses on aggression, as every time Jin kills an enemy, he restores a moderate amount of health. Like the other charms, this also stacks with each enemy slaughtered.
This charm is incredible in all parts of the game, it doesn’t matter how powerful Jin is late in the game. The constant regenerating health allows for Resolve to be used in other deadly abilities, with each lethal blow only making Jin stronger.
It’s without a doubt the best charm in the game, and a staple in most playthroughs and builds.
