A 2-Set of Gilded Dreams will give Alhaitham a bonus increase of 80 to his Elemental Mastery. Its 4-Set, within 8 seconds of triggering an Elemental Reaction, will give Alhaitham buffs based on the Elemental Type of the other party members. ATK will increase by 14 percent for each member whose Elemental Type is the same as Alhaitham’s, and Elemental Mastery will increase by 50 for every member with a different Elemental Type. Each of the buffs will count up to 3 characters. This effect can be triggered once every 8 seconds and even if Alhaitham is not on the field. Gilded Dreams is a great way toincrease Alhaitham’s Elemental Mastery significantly to create stronger Elemental Reactions.You should focus on havingmore characters that aren’t Dendroin order toincrease his Elemental Mastery further.Here are some of the main stats and substats you should look out for.

Alhaitham’s Best 5-Star & 4-Star Weapons
Alhaitham luckily has quite a few weapons that work for him, including a feweasily-obtainable and Free-to-Play 4-Stars.As a Main DPS, he will benefit greatly from any weapons thatincrease his CRIT Stats or Elemental Mastery, as you’ll want to make sure he’s creating powerful Elemental Reactions. Here are some of the weapons we recommend picking up for Alhaitham.
5-Star Weapons: Light Of Foliar Incision & Primordial Jade Cutter
Light of Foliar Incisionwill give Alhaitham a base increase of 19.20 percent to his CRIT DMG. Its Bonus Skill will increase CRIT Rate by 4 percent. After Normal Attacks deal Elemental DMG, the Foliar Incision effect will be obtained, increasing DMG dealt by Normal Attacks and his Elemental Skill by 120 percent of Elemental Mastery. This effect will disappear after 28 DMG instances or 12 seconds. Alhaitham will obtain Foliar Incision once every 12 seconds.Light of Foliar Incision is Alhaitham’s signature weapon, so if you are able to pull for it, we highly recommend you do so. It has anincredible increase to CRIT DMG,and will also give him a respectable boost to his Elemental Mastery to deal as much damage as possible from his Dendro attacks.
Primordial Jade Cutter will give Alhaitham a base increase of 9.6 percent to his CRIT Rate. Its Bonus Skill will increase HP by 20 percent. Additionally, it provides an ATK bonus based on 1.2 percent of Alhaitham’s max HP. If your Alhaitham build islacking in CRIT Rate, Primordial Jade Cutter is a solid option for you.It’s relatively easy to get onStandard Banners, so it will always be available to you.
4-Star Weapons: Toukabou Shigure & Iron Sting
Toukabou Shigure will give Alhaitham a base increase of 36 to his Elemental Mastery. Its Bonus Skill, after an attack hits opponents, will inflict an instance of Cursed Parasol upon one of them for 10 seconds. This effect can be triggered once every 15 seconds. If the enemy is taken out during Cursed Parasol’s duration, its Cooldown will be refreshed immediately. Alhaitham will deal 16 percent more DMG to the enemy affected by Cursed Parasol. If you were able toobtain Toukabou Shigurefrom the Akitsu Kimodameshi Event, wehighly recommend giving it to Alhaitham if you don’t have his signature weapon.It will greatly increase the damage he deals from Elemental Reactions.
Iron Sting will give Alhaitham a base increase of 36 to his Elemental Mastery. Its Bonus Skill will increase all DMG by 6 percent for 6 seconds when dealing Elemental DMG. This has a maximum of 2 stacks, and can occur once every 1 second.Iron Sting will be your Free-to-Play option for Alhaithamif you missed out on the Akitsu Kimodameshi Event. It will give the same amount of increase to his Elemental Mastery,while also giving Alhaitham’s overall damage a nice improvement.

Alhaitham’s Best Team Compositions
to get the most out of the Gilded Dreams 4-Set,Alhaitham will benefit sustantially from having a team of mostly differing Elements.You’ll also want this anyway in order to produce as many Elemental Reactions as possible, as this is where Alhaitham deals the most damage. 5-Star Team
With this team, Alhaitham willreceive a large increase to his Elemental Mastery from the Gilded Dreams set since there are two characters with differing Elements.This team will also be able to create theBloom, Hyperbloom, and Quicken Reactionsto enhance Alhaitham’s damage when he is on the field.

Sub-DPS, Can provide consistent Hydro DMG to create Bloom Reaction and increase active character’s DMG with Elemental Burst.
Raiden Shogun
Sub-DPS, Can provide strong Electro DMG to create Hyperbloom and Quicken Reactions and increases team’s Energy.
Support, Can provide an increase to Alhaitham’s Elemental Mastery with Elemental Burst and deal off-field Dendro DMG.
4-Star Team
This team will have amain focus on creating the Burgeon Reaction, which can be created after a Dendro Core is made with Hydro and Dendro and then applying Pyro to the Dendro Core. There are a few other Elemental Reactions you can create, butBurgeon will be the most beneficial and will allow all the characters in the team to play a major part.
Sub-DPS, Can provide consistent Hydro DMG off-field to create the Bloom Reaction.
Support, Can provide Pyro DMG to create Burgeon as well as heal and buff team with Elemental Burst.
Sub-DPS, Can provide additional Hydro DMG and shields to protect the team.
