Xbox finally announced a new installment of one of its most iconic sagas, but it was not what fans would have expected; nevertheless, the reception was more than positive. The Coalition presentedGears of War: E-Day, a prequel in which we will finally see what happened on Emergence Day.

Fans, taking advantage of this announcement, have already planned and suggested content that the studio can add to this new title. A Reddit user shared two unfulfilled promises from the previous installment, recommending potential additions to this new game.
Gears of War: E-Day Is the Opportunity to Make a Game That Changes Everything for This Franchise
Microsoft revealed what the new installment of one of its most profitable franchises will be like, surprising all the fans.Gears of War: E-Daywill serve as a prequel, revealing the events of the renowned Emergence Day for the first time. This title will concentrate on showcasing the Locust, a terrifying creature that humanity was ill-prepared to confront, unlike previous titles. This new game will be very violent and full of gore.
“I would like a Dead Rising system…”: Gears of War: E-Day Fans are Begging The Coalition to Include 1 Weapon From the Trailer
Anticipating this release, a Reddit user posted two suggestions or promises that the studio had made forGears 5. One feature was a map editor that allowed players to design their own maps and share them for community play.
On the other hand, they also proposed a battle royale mode during a period when this genre was more popular. This new game could likely incorporate these kinds of additions.

There Are Two Mechanics That Could Be Very Entertaining for This Title
The community responded to the user’s suggestions in a variety of ways, with the majority focusing on the battle royale mode, which is currently deemed unnecessary and does not align with the gameplay of these titles.
However, users enthusiastically welcomed the inclusion of the map editor in this upcoming title. This is particularly beneficial for players who aspire to create their own maps, akin toFortnite.

“I really want…”: Gears of War: E-Day Should Include 1 Mechanic That’d Make Getting Downed the Most Fun Part of Multiplayer
The user provided detailed instructions on how to design the map for a potential battle royale mode. Regrettably, this mode is incompatible with this type of game, which heavily relies on cover, as it could lead to chaos, even in large scenarios. However, the studio could test larger maps with more players to make the multiplayer more intriguing and full of every kind of weapon available.
Gears of War: E-Daydoes not have a confirmed release date but will arrive sometime in 2025 exclusively for PC and Xbox Series S/X. Players are very excited about this prequel because, for the first time, they will be able to see how the famous Emergence Day, where the iconic Locust appeared, unfolded. On the other hand, Marcus Fenix will once again be the protagonist of this popular franchise.

I’m a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
